Nails Trix - Federal Way kirsten kime: I really want to give 4* for all but 1 mediocre pedicure Ive received here. However, they dont honor their pricing for girls services. The first time I took my daughter along and stated she wanted a kids pedicure, she/I were asked at least 5 times how old she was. This last time when I corrected the price I was charged after the service she asked my daughter how old she was, and when my daughter stated "11" she said she was too old. I stated to her that the menu both online and in the shop stated 12 and under. She then spoke to another woman in their native language before adjusting the cost. With her getting gel and myself using standard polish both of our costs were over $40 each, so its not like I save that much... I think its $10 discount overall. Its really the principle.
My daughter was uncomfortable for a 2nd time (all over her age and her being tall), so Ill take my business elsewhere even though they do a good job. I dont like dishonesty, and I dont appreciate them questioning her the way that they did.
*The owner called to apologize and talk about the issue. Offered a 10% discount and asked to have another try. Very impressed with her care to make things right.
E&B Nails Spa - Federal Way Erin Rehkopf Pak: Such a kind team and clean nail spa! The gel mani & pedi I got turned out great and I’ll definitely be coming back! Lots of parking too which is always nice!
Love Nails & Spa - Federal Way Soung Son: I have been to many Nail Salons and this is one of the few I enjoy going to with my girlfriend.
Been here twice now due to moving near federal way. Tried out a couple places and We seem to end up coming here for a few reasons. But I will get straight to the point on my review for this place.
1-The employees here are very friendly and kind. I also always just call to see if they are busy but most likely just end up walking in as well.
2-Girlfriend gets her nails done, and the guys (yes guys, we usually go in a group of 2-3) to get pedicures and it is great.
3-Pedicures feel great we get the (Special) for about $25 and at the end is what I love, the bag with some purple goo. Its warm and makes my feet feel great.
4- Great place to stop by since its so close to all the shopping places here. Plus the massage chairs are decent and always feel good. I always end up passing out and waking up alone, but the ladies are kind and never seem to mind me ha!
Definitely worth trying!
Classy Nail - Federal Way Dennis X: The staff at this establishment demonstrated exceptional customer service and professionalism during my recent visit for a pedicure. Despite the approaching closing time, they took their time to ensure a thorough and high-quality service. The $35 pedicure I received surpassed the quality of more expensive services I have experienced elsewhere. I highly recommend this establishment and intend to make it my regular choice for future pedicure needs.

Dolce Nail Spa - Federal Way Marissa Main: My partner and I both got pedicures for our anniversary! And I got my dip powder full set. The staff were very welcoming and amazing! Super sweet and the most generous people ever! The prices was reasonable as well. I’ll be coming back here again!
Eden Nails - Federal Way karlee hagan: I don’t usually leave reviews but was so happy with the service I received here at Eden Nails I knew I had to. I had been going to my previous nail salon for YEARS and recently moved. I wanted to try a closer salon and as you can see by the picture they did exactly what I wanted. I usually have to bring my toddler and though he’s fairly well behaved they were so kind to him, helping him in the chair and getting him water which they didn’t have to do.
Da-Vi Nails - federal way - Federal Way Julie Lopez: Cherry did my nails yesterday and I love them:) perfect thin shape! And quick nail art! For the perfect work and her being delicate during the whole process $90 seems like a good deal for me, *new set with gel*
Lady Nails - Federal Way Emily Smith: I have been going to Lady Nails for over 6 years now and I will not go anywhere else. Their prices are great, I always get the Best customer service every fill or full set I get; they are more like friends now and really take the time to get to know every single client that walks in. My nails look beautiful and last up to 3 weeks as long as I’m not too hard with my typing at work lol. I highly recommend Lady nails, they are the BEST!!!
Nails Tek - Federal Way John Swaney: I apologize for the negative review in advance, but this was the worst experience I have had a nail place ever. All I wanted was a simple manicure as I was leaving for vacation. It started off normal enough, but then as she was clipping my cuticles and trimming extra skin off, she kept nipping me left and right. This resulted in a large amount of broken skin which led to mild infection causing pain for a few days during my vacation. The pain got so bad, I could not even open up packaging with my fingers and sometimes had to rely on a friend.
During the manicure, I asked her to buff my nails to remove the ridges and give them a little shine. Normally, every other place I have ever been do simply uses a buffing block and it does the magic. This nail technician decided to pull out a tool that required a pad that would polish my nails. First, please note this pad looked used and old and needs to be replaced. Im fairly certain that this was one of the reasons that led to the mild infection. It was gross and dirty. During this session, I experienced heat that I have never had before. I thought that was just par for the course for using this kind of tool. When she was finished and wiped off all the polishing paste, it looked like she took off almost half the thickness of all my nails and then roughed them up, as if to prepare the surface to apply fake nails. I was pissed. I stayed silent because I did not want to cause a scene as I was with a friend who has been coming here for 20+ years.
Please also note, there are lots of questions I have concerning both cleanliness and maintenance. The front door appears to be an internal house bedroom door built into the wall, using the old glass door as a window. If a company is not willing to maintain their business so it attracts customers, that should be a red flag. That makes me question what other maintenance they are NOT doing, like their pedicure chairs, etc.
A corner of the salon also smelled of sour milk. Unsure if it was the manicure chair I was sitting in to wait for my friend to finish, or if something was spilled in that area and not cleaned up.
I will never return.
