1 /5 Samantha Noldin: As a first-time mom, I was eager for a positive and reassuring experience when I brought my two-week-old daughter to Dr. Ivan Guevara for her newborn checkup. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, and I left feeling quite the opposite.
Dr. Guevara’s demeanor was notably rude and judgmental throughout the appointment. As a first-time mom seeking guidance and support, I expected empathy and understanding. Instead, I felt dismissed, which left me feeling uneasy and unsure.
Moreover, I had questions and concerns about my daughter’s health and development, which I felt were brushed off without adequate explanation or reassurance.
Overall, my experience with Dr. Ivan Guevara fell far short of my expectations for a pediatrician. As a first-time mom looking for guidance and reassurance, I left the appointment feeling disheartened and will be seeking care elsewhere for my daughter’s future medical needs.
