5 /5 Redwood T: Im really happy to be a patient here. This was an excellent experience from making the appointment to leaving the visit. I appreciate that they have a lab on-site so I dont have to go somewhere else for a blood draw. I feel that I was really cared for here, from everyone I met, that the doctor really cares about my health, and it was the first time in a long time where I felt like a doctor actually listened to me instead of trying to rush me out the door.

5 /5 Lauren Benjamin: We were visiting family here from Florida and our daughter had a cough that was getting worse and we needed to get it checked out before flying home. Everyone here was so kind from the front desk, our medical assistant who took my daughter’s vitals (I can’t remember her name I’m so sorry - but she had brown hair and was tall!) our Xray tech who helped a 3 year old stay still long enough to check her lungs (Lori I think was her name??) and our PA Syndii who was so sweet! They had trouble finding our insurance (based in Florida) but took the time to help us find more info on it and were able to use it. Also, the Lollipops in the lobby were excellent bribery for a 3 year old lol! Thank you all so much!

5 /5 Kelly Kindler: I have been a patient here for 10 years. I have actually moved out of the area but come back to Bellingham just to see Dr Van Hofwegen. A wonderful doctor is difficult to find, I am fortunate that someone 10 years ago told me about this clinic.

1 /5 kelly kernan: If you are transgender or transitioning I would not recommend this doctors office. Dr. Bonner is not knowledgeable or empathetic about trans issues and basically told me I was "smart enough to figure it out on my own" when I asked him how to begin the process of requesting coverage for top surgery. Then once I figured it out and told him what I needed from him (a letter stating that it would be medically necessary) he had a secretary call me and tell me he wouldnt write one because he didnt believe it would be medically necessary despite my diagnosis of gender dysphoria that I have had for years. Also, when I started testosterone, he was not very clear about when I would need blood work done or the procedure for self administering the hormones so I ended up doing it wrong the first time. If you are trans and want a doctor that will take your issues seriously, please go somewhere else.

I learned my gynecologist was leaving town, initially called the gynecology clinic up by the hospital to see if they were accepting new patients I was told the only way I could get in with as booked up as they were, was to get a referral from my primary care doctor I called and left a detailed message as to why I was calling; received a phone call from the doctors office the following day telling me they had someone in the office who did the same thing I was even reassured they took care of post menopausal issues , so I went ahead and scheduled the appointment for this last week, expecting to get an annual female exam, instead it was a medication review which I did not need and she went over my lab work which was done by Dr. Vye earlier this year. She didnt even do the female exam I was lead to believe I would be receiving.

We have been waiting 2 weeks for Dr. Bremjit to fill out Emergency placement for my Mother-in-law who has a broken back. We have called every day with no call backs and are visiting for the 2nd time today to sit in there until someone helps us. If I could report them for neglect I would. There are so many unhappy people according to reviews. At what point are offices held reliable for terrible care????

My ARNP Caolae Jones was good at getting through the info and results of my recent shoulder surgery. I liked that she scheduled another appointment in 2 weeks to see how I’m doing with administering antibiotics at home and see that no infection has developed. I appreciate Cornerstone Medical.

Veronica Cortez: This is the third time I’ve seen this doctor and the third time I have felt like he did not help me at all. He literally said I don’t know how to help you. I don’t know you may need to see your surgeon. When I seen another doctor that I was referred to because my surgeon was not able to address me she appointed me to My surgeon as well, but she helped me make sure that I got my appointment in and I was going to be addressed as soon as possible. She made sure I had to help before I left. She examined me and make sure my needs were being addressed as to this doctor did not he pushed on my stomach and said well I feel like you’re bloated, but I don’t know how to help you. I don’t feel like my needs were being met at all. I feel like you should at least help me get my foot in the door to someone who knew how to help me at my time of week like the other doctor that I see.
