Best 18 MEDICAL SERVICES near Yakima, WA (Part 2)
04-2025 Emergency Associates Of Yakima in Best 18 MEDICAL SERVICES near Yakima, WA (Part 2)Central Washington Family Medicine Clinic - Yakima Emeli Lazo: The receptionist people are always rude and talking with other employees when there’s a line. You can be there waiting and they’ll completely ignore you until they are ready. And the “doctors” are residents who clearly don’t know what they are doing. You ask for a doctor and you get a resident. Very annoying.
Yakima Gastroenterology Associates - Yakima Christi Mallow: It took almost 3 months to get an appointment for a hospital follow up. Referrals were supposedly faxed by my doctors office to you, only to find they had the wrong fax number. After the referral was received I now had to wait for the scheduler to call me for an appt. I patiently waited 2 weeks for her to call. When I called everyday I finally got an appt. The Dr. Was great and spent time with me and my husband. He did tell us that because there are doctor shortages, hes usually 2-3 months out. I just dont think the process was done very well.
MultiCare Yakima Memorial Heart, Lung & Vascular - Yakima Ron Smith: This outfit is the worst I have ever seen. Im a 7 time heart attack victim. 3.5 months now I have been trying to get ahold of them for my echo to determine a pace maker. Absolutely never any reply. Horrible horrible. I wish I could have left zero stars. Pray to God I dont die before getting ahold of this place. And they wont even give me a referral to find a adequate Doctor
Northwest Medicine - Yakima KATHY HENRY: When I turned 65 and was new to Medicare, I had to find a doctor who would accept Medicare. I had called around and was told the doctor in question was not taking any new or more Medicare patients. I called Dr. Mark Joys office where my husband goes and was told the same. I went to the appointment with my husband as he was already established with Dr. Joy, and I told him I needed a doctor and was sorry he wasnt taking new patients. He told me to have the front office make an appointment for me as I was "part of the family" and he welcomed me to his practice. I really respect and admire Dr. Mark Joy as he treats me as a friend as well as a patient. He listens, gives good advice and makes me feel he really cares, as do Sarah, his nurse, and Daisy in the front office. Thank you, all, at Northwest Medicine for your kindness and friendship!
Yakima Pediatric Associates - Yakima Stonya Parsons: So disappointed my children have been going to this clinic since they were babies! Its going down hill completely. There is a physicians assistant that saw my daughter three weeks ago and didnt bother reading her chart. My daughter has elevated blood levels and we are trying to figure out why. This assistant didnt even bother looking at her chart then we had to go back yesterday to do blood work again and in that time the phlabotomist left early and no one bothered calling us. I am a single parent and have to take time off work for the appointments. Today we go back I had to ask a friend to take her. They sat in a room for over an hour and the phlabotomist tells them to come back in the afternoon. This is to much really and overwhelming completely just trying to see if my childs blood count when down so we know how to move forward. They dont care about their patients at all it used to be an amazing clinic but I dont recommend anyone taking their children there if you are looking for quality care
Waters Edge: Memorials Pain Relief Institute - Yakima Merrill Sepulveda: The office Staff and doctors at Water’s edge are very knowledgeable and compassionate and friendly. I go there for bilateral knee shots, which however, is not a surgical procedure. It is just one injection in each knee lately. Multi care has been charging me a surgical facility fee over and above my procedure with the doctor. This amounts to anywhere from $250-$350 and I think it is unscrupulous.
Yakima Ear, Nose & Throat - Yakima Molly Nelson: We saw Dr Shady and he was quick and reassuring and made our nerves better with my son who has autism. He answered all our questions and explained my sons upcoming surgery to us and how they will do it. Front check out staff not so much actually non of the girls checking in or out are ever friendly or nice. Not a one ever smiles at you greets you or anything but Dr Shady makes up for it!
MultiCare Yakima Memorial Emergency Room - Yakima Payge Prater: I went to two urgent cares that treated me like absolute garbage and did not do testing swabs correctly. I then went to the emergency room, there was a bit of a wait, but they took care of me right off the bat and actually made me feel heard. Gave me antibiotics immediately. I really appreciate it. This is the best I felt all week Just from hours after leaving the emergency room. Thank you guys so much.
The Sleep Center at Memorial - Yakima Russell James (Fuzzy Uncle Bob): A warm friendly atmosphere, I was greeted promptly upon arrival, and check-in was a breeze. I only had to wait minutes before they called me back for my appointment. The knowledgeable staff put me at ease, explaining the process and procedure. They were quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. They then proceeded to schedule the procedure at a time that was convenient for me. I look forward to working with them soon.
