3 /5 Christi Mallow: It took almost 3 months to get an appointment for a hospital follow up. Referrals were supposedly faxed by my doctors office to you, only to find they had the wrong fax number. After the referral was received I now had to wait for the scheduler to call me for an appt. I patiently waited 2 weeks for her to call. When I called everyday I finally got an appt. The Dr. Was great and spent time with me and my husband. He did tell us that because there are doctor shortages, hes usually 2-3 months out. I just dont think the process was done very well.

1 /5 Tammy Bremer: I really wish I could choose a zero instead of a number one. Have been trying to get a refill on my injectable. Nothing not a call back. I have now missed 2 doses of meds. Phoned insurance, got all the facts from them. Called the Dr office and I was told to call my PCP for the medication, she cant give me. Asked how I could talk to a real person that would CALL me back. Now after all of that I find out that the Dr isnt even there any longer. Why in the world would they not think it important to let patients know! I was ready to BLOW up. I said bye before I could. This is just not good enough. This will be my second time going thru not getting my meds. 4 months previously. Being busy is not an excuse, I worked in healthcare for over 24 years. No excuse is acceptable.

1 /5 Becky Lorash: I started going to this clinic in 2021. This is just a few major issues Ive had. I have never been able to get an appointment in a timely manner. Every time I call for appointments they tell me the scheduler is not even there. They never did prior authorizations to have my medications covered by insurance and several calls. They left a clamp in my body during a procedure and didnt tell me about it. When I found it in an unrelated xray i had to threather their office with an attorney to get an appointment and have it it removed. The last appointment I had with the Dr I normally saw- PA Soly Houy, he wouldnt even come into the room, he told his MA that there was nothing he could do for me and I told his MA I at least need the results of my slow stomach study and a referral to another Gastrointerologist since he refused to help me. The health care in Yakima is sub par already but this office is one of the worst clinics Ive been to.

1 /5 Sweets Herbalist (Patti): I am 35. My family has a history of colon cancer. I went to Yakima Gastroenterology twice and both times the staff was great. Polyps were found and removed in the first colonoscopy. After my second colonoscopy, everything was okay and I was told to come back in 5 years. This year I knew it was time so I had a referral sent to Yakima Gastroenterology. Angelica had left me a voicemail to let me know that my referral was sent back. She said I wasnt due for a colonoscopy for 10 years which meant I had to wait another 5 years. She also said if I had any questions, to give them a call so I called back and left a voicemail asking about the referral but never received a call back. I prefer not to play Russian roulette with my life so I had my PCP change my referral to Prosser Memorial and had my colonoscopy done there.

1 /5 Matt Poppoff: This place is an absolute joke. It was almost 3 month wait to get scheduled here. I was able to see a gastroenterologist in Seattle same week and got taken care of months ago. I have been trying to call them for 2 days to cancel my appointment and can’t get through to anyone to even cancel it so some other poor souls can possibly use it.
