1 /5 Eric Poeggel: This place is a complete mismanaged joke. I went in Dec 4 for major abdominal pain. Maybe 5 people in front of me. Left 2h15m later after my wife was told there was no way of having any idea how much longer it would be. 45 min after I checked in, a mother and daughter checked in. 20 minutes later they got admitted, after going out and bringing back food to eat in the er. If i could eat, i wouldnt be in the er. Mind you i couldnt sit for more than 10 min at a time and was nauseous from pain. Before that, a young man wearing a middle finger sweatshirt came in and sat between people talking on his phone, saying he hoped he didnt have covid and laughing while coughing with no mask on. He was also ushered through. I couldnt laugh from my pain... so from what I gather, my union insurance doesnt work as good as other funded insurance. Because 10+ other people went through, like going through a McDonalds drive through, in front of me. Went home slept 3 hrs, drove to Ellensburg, checked in at 6:30. Had a urine sample, blood work, dye injected, CT scan, treated and back to work by 9. 15 min longer than I spent in this slum in yakima to not even be seen. Read the reviews. If your head hasnt fallen off your shoulders or your arms or legs havent been caught in a combine, drive to Ellensburg or Prosser. Thank me later.
