5 /5 Brenna Tait Colo: Cannot sing the praises of this salon enough, finally got a cut that brings out my natural waves. My stylist, KK, was so sweet and knowledgeable and spent the time to teach me how to style my hair properly. It was such a unique experience that I had been searching for that I brought my mom who has always struggled to cut and style her hair (curlier than mine) and she loves it as well. It is such a welcoming and inclusive environment, and the salon supports the community. They send out a monthly newsletter (just one, not a ton of emails) that highlight events and what we can be doing to help each other and fight back. So not only a wonderful hair salon, but the kind of business I want to be supporting!

1 /5 Hailey Pierce: Whenever I have actually been able to get my haircut it’s been great but on multiple occasions I have waited well over thirty minutes or been cancelled on last minute for a scheduled appointment. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and keep going but this last time I waited 45 minutes after driving over an hour to Seattle just for her to cancel on me, there was another person there who also ended up leaving because their stylist never showed either. If you book with someone who will actually show up I’ve always been satisfied with the haircut itself but the unprofessionalism is not worth it!!

1 /5 Ang It: I requested an appointment online several days in advance with Natalie for the listed 2:30 time slot for a trim for my afro, which she quickly accepted. I arrived at 2:15 and got a quick acknowledgement when I walked in the door, then was completely ignored for the next 25 minutes. At 2:42 Natalie finally came up to me in the waiting area and told me itd be another 30 minutes at least, at which point I decided to leave. Absolutely terrible customer service and terrible communication. Why accept or even list a time slot in the first place if youre double-booking yourself, and if you know youre double-booked why not communicate that sooner? Zero respect for new clients time.

5 /5 Keondia Woodley: I’ve never had a curly cut done so I was nervous, but Miguel discussed every step with me to ensure I understood what he was doing and how to also do it myself. I appreciate his kindness and patience with the whole process. I walked out knowing more about my hair and I can’t wait to go back for another appointment in the future.

Alysse Miller: Michelle has been doing my hair for over a decade now. I have very thick, coarse wavy hair and she’s always taken such good care of me. She’s got naturally curly hair herself and she’s always known how to work with mine. I always leave her chair feeling like a goddess - I even asked her to do my hair for my wedding day. Love, June Salon is so cute and there’s plenty of parking options nearby. My last appointment was a few weeks ago and I was greeted right away. Michelle made me a cold brew that I sipped while we spoke about my hair. I brought some color inspiration photos with me to show the chocolate brown I wanted for Fall. She’s so great at translating what I want and looking at options that might work best for my skin tone and natural color. Michelle’s also realistic with maintenance and considers grow-out, which I appreciate since I live about an hour away from Seattle and can’t always get to the salon as often as I’d like. She colored, toned, and cut my hair and then gave me a sleek blowout. Absolutely LOVE the color she landed on and the cut was perfect to bring some new life to my volume and curls. The salon is cozy, but very comfortable and the rest of the staff is so friendly.

Fairman Frieda: I love this Salon. My stylist is the owner of salon, whom Ive been going to for years, he always does beautful work on my hair. I feel like he always knows what to do for my hair to keep it healthy or get it back on track when it needs a boost and his styles and skill set are among the best, hands down. I see the work of all of the stylists, they all do beautiful work and they are all so committed to beautfiul, healthy yet stylish hair. Beautiful, HEALTHY and stylish. They are all pretty easy going and friendly. The owner, Taco, along with his assistant Wilena have upbeat personalities (I always get a good chuckle about something or other while Im getting my hair done). I love them and the work they do. The best.

We have great beard barbers where I live in SE Portland so I wasnt sure what to expect. Adrian did a fantastic job. Both he and Yvey provided feedback, asked great questions and were committed to getting it just right. They are skilled, friendly craftsmen who took pride in their work. Tyler Dierdorff: Kim has been cutting my hair for 10-15 years now and I cannot say enough good things about her and the consistency of the service she provides. I never have to worry about getting my hair cut with her. She is efficient and can cut and style many ways. She also cuts my toddlers hair from time to time and is great with kids. Just make sure to make an appointment in advance, she is busy because she is that good!
