5 /5 Maria Scott: i have had two curly hair cuts with amy and she is absolutely wonderful, she takes her time and creates a very welcoming environment. the first time i got a curly cut by her it was my first big haircut ever and it turned out pretty amazing, i was very scared to let anyone cut my hair and when i met her and we started talking my worries went away pretty quickly, she made sure to take the time to talk about what i was looking for and then executed it perfectly!

Sigma product 144: Eddy was my barber and he got my hair, more notably for me my beard, the exact way I wanted it. This guy has some real talent. Comfortable cut. Nice barber talk conversations and great focus. Will definitely be booking him again. Ive been coming to this shop since 2018 back before the move to this new place. Ive watched this place grow stronger through the years. Im enjoying all the new talents I see being produced here. Always will be my shop. This review isnt just for eddy but for the entirety of the team as well. Proud of you all keep it up.

Eric A: In the recent 6 months Ive become a regular. This place is popular so call ahead to make an appointment. Ive been pretty lucky and not had to wait more than 15 minutes. Theres usually 2 or 3 stylists at a time. They cut my hair exactly how I ask and know how to deal with my oddly located cowlicks. They dont rush and take time to carefully and meticulously cut your hair. My hair gets all over everything and they make sure to clean it off so I can continue with my day. Cant beat the price here either.

Matthew Shull: Wow, this place is pretty amazing. I am an Asian man (Asian hair). I came in with a terrible mess of hair and no idea on what would look "good". I didnt have a picture either. But one of the barbers (I think Joann?) did a super great job with me. She gave me full attention and genuinely cared about the small details of my hair. Shampoo and wash was also spectacular. She was gentle the entire way through and the customer service was also super good. But my gosh, the price was so great! Half the price of a haircut in Seattle. This is THE place to get a good haircut for a cheap price. Everything was a 10/10. Highly recommend :)

Hanh: Prices is outrageous, and I recently bought Biolage products thats good for my hair until I decided to refund from budget. A cashier at front desk gave me a receipt that says refund confirmed and should give me my money back in my bank account. I still dont see it after I opened my bank app. I checked everything this tells me they mislead me the entire time and I will never step a foot in Blue Island Beauty ever again not suitable for everyone unless spend alot more.
