Lake Clara Trailhead - Wenatchee (WA)

4 /5 Carli (Adventures with Carli): Trail is pretty steep for first .75 miles towards the lakes, then evens out. Signage could definitely be improved. hike was very pretty and will be even better in a few weeks once larches are in full shift. Clara Lake is the bigger and more impressive of the two. Marion lake requires climbing through more loose rocks and is smaller of the two lakes. If you don’t like screaming children during your hike, strongly recommend going during the week rather than a Sunday. At one point had unattended small children screaming and running down the trail past me with parents just casually walking well behind them up the trail. Parking lot is limited and people park pretty terribly so you may need to get creative. But no pass required. No toilet facilities in the area.

5 /5 Roger Skjelstad: Little bit of a hike the trail is pretty clear and maintained some pretty good inclines but very beautiful and Serene some really amazing views and was really great to talk with other hikers and fishers on the way up and on the way down me and my friend went to go fish both the lakes was very tranquil and therapeutic. Not a super difficult trail but be prepared with water and was nice that it has a few spots to sit and rest on a log to catch a breath. A mile and a half up to the lake would recommend the trail and the views totally worth taking the day to explore and fish

5 /5 Jason Williams: Was a beautiful day for a hike in the PNW. Got to the trailhead at 6:30 and I was the first car in the parking lot. Parking lot is at Mission Ridge, once you see the Mission Ridge sign the parking will be to the left. The trail was in great condition and was gorgeous. Round trip was 3.5 miles and 1000 feet elevation gain. The lakes weren’t too spectacular but the solitude was great. Only saw 10 other hikers on my way down. Lots of birds chirping, perfect time to come hike here.

4 /5 Roderick Claassen: Ended up in the desert of Wenatchee over the weekend. Decided to try and find some green nature and discovered this great little trailhead which is a part of Squilhuck State Park. The hike is super easy and gives access to two beautiful small little lakes; Marion and Clara. We didn’t encounter any other people during the entire afternoon, which felt nice for a change to be alone in nature. Recommend if you want to go for a relaxing hike which isn’t challenging.

5 /5 Stacy Hodges: A nice hike. It’s steep and not super long but you can go past the lakes get even more great views. If you go past Clara Lake I would bring snowshoes during the winter. Yaktrax work well up to the lakes.
