4 /5 Sammy Hignell-Stark: I’ve gone to Nina’s three times now for acrylics and fills. I’ll start this off by saying if Nina’s had an email, I would take this up privately because I don’t want to be a naysayer and I’m not ordinarily set on posting poor reviews. However, the initial set was great: smooth, even, and shiny. I feel like the tech took her time and got proper nail prep so the set stayed nice until the fill. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing about the two subsequent fills, as they have been lumpy bumpy and nearly every nail lifted up at the cuticle edge. I held off saying anything the first fill curious if it was just an off day. But today I got another fill, and I’m quite disappointed. Each nail is uneven, the acrylic is lumpy and bumpy, and when I tried to bring these issues up with my tech, she kept saying “I don’t see it.” I really have tried to like Nina’s because I know they are all really hard working folk and a few friends go here and love it, and my first set was so good. I just can’t shake the disappointment I’ve walked away with these last two appointments, especially since I brought these issues up multiple times and was brushed off. :(
