SVN: I took my mom to her PCP (Dr Nguyen) and we had a very disappointing experience. We arrived early for our appointment and as soon as we checked in, we were called by the CMA (Pam). When we were being led to the exam room, we asked the CMA if my mom could use the restroom before the exam - the CMA checked her watch and appeared visibly annoyed at the request. Since my sister normally takes my mom to the PCP, I was not familiar with her medical records. During the vitals check, I asked a simple question about my moms blood pressure, if the BP was within my moms range or if its considered high, the CMA responded with frustration, saying, "Im not a doctor." As a CMA, I expected more professionalism. Dr. Nguyens approach was no better. She didn’t explain any of the vitals, rushed through the exam, and was curt and condescending toward my mom. When my mom inquired about a prior test, the doctor snapped that we should have asked in advance, that she didn’t have time to pull up the information. Overall, it felt like we were more of a burden than patients.

He is very knowledgeable and experienced and this was evident in the way he explained the procedure in detail, why it was done a certain way, and possible risks/complications. After the procedure was done Dr. Parikh and his team was attentive and comforting during the recovery. It has been a few weeks since the procedure and the results are looking great! I want to call out PA-C Patricia Sun, who had incredible bedside manner and really turned my (very late) night around. Not only did she diagnose and treat, set me up with specialist, she empowered me I’ll get through this. You can tell when someone is passionate about what they do & helping others- I found that the case here!!

Elissa Emde: I came in with a nail I had drilled into and broke apart (oops! ) and all the staff from the front desk to the Dr were amazing. I felt well cared for and the convenience cant be beat, made a 7:30pm appt at 4pm, was seen early and Im out the door by 7:50. Its never *fun * to go to the Dr but I actually had a good time, had some laughs and even got a Scooby Doo bandaid. Definitely a great option for emergency care!

Nava Prasanth Vallepalli: Beware of what you disclose when you visit for only annual physicals. I was billed for two visits on my first single visit, (one for annual physicals and another for established patient care) even though I explicitly asked for only annual physicals and nothing else. Established care was billed for explaining my previous health history when asked by the doctor. My appointment was delayed by 15 minutes and it was all rushed. Will not visit this primary care again for lack of transparency.
