1 /5 Brad Wagenaar: Avoid PacMed for your primary care needs. Two separate instances we have ended up with expensive bills for a visit scheduled as "Primary Care Visit" when during the appointment the provider either asked about mental health concerns (which is a key part of primary care and covered under the ACA and a key part of a primary care visit), or did a routine brief and not requested skin examination as part of the physical and both times then retroactively billed the visit NOT as a "primary care visit". I am unsure this is legal but either way their billing department, the provider themselves, and the organization as a whole have not responded to numerous formal letters, messages, or other ways of trying to get this fixed.
Avoid this place unless you want to be treated similarly. It sounds like some previous reviewers have had similar or the exact same experience, so clearly this is a pattern.
