5 /5 Natalie McArthur: Honest & reliable. Fairly priced. My car’s transmission light came on after some body work from an auto body place. I brought my car here. They found (quite quickly) that after the body work, someone forgot to plug something back in! They only charged me for for a bit of labor. I’ve gone back here for all my automotive needs since. They are who I refer my friends and family too. They give accurate estimates and most importantly, don’t try to upsell things you don’t need, don’t want, or can’t afford. They won’t do any work without your authorization as well. Trustworthy. Something you don’t see very often these days.

5 /5 Meghan Woodard: I initially had my car towed in because it would not start. Precision was able to identify the problem, (a broken ignition lock), however, they stated that it would be easiest to resolve through the dealership. I primarily spoke with Josh and he went above and beyond to help me figure out the logistics with the dealership (who were not quite as helpful). Despite not having fixed the issue, I fully trust Precision to act with integrity and transparency and would definitely recommend them for that alone. I am especially grateful to Josh for helping me navigate my situation with patience and honesty.

5 /5 Angie Olson: Steve and his staff were referred to me as being an honest, trustworthy group where my vehicle(s) would be competently repaired with great customer service. I can attest to the truth of this. The first time I spoke with Steve was when I actually had a vehicle at Coopers to be repaired, and had paid them a LOT of money, only to have it break down again immediately after picking it up; it was *again* at Coopers for a long time, and I was being told of another large sum it was going to *again* cost me for *more* repair. Steve disagreed with what I had been told about it, as he believed the problem to be something entirely different. I had a tow-company go get my vehicle. Coopers left oily rags all over the floorboards and the underside of the front dash and steering wheel was in pieces all over the floor of the vehicle. Steve was actuaĺly right!-- and repaired the problem the same day it was brought to him---and saved me HUNDREDS of dollars from what COOPERS planned to have me pay. He and his staff do honest work and dont inflate anything being proposed to be done. RARE in the car-repair industry! They have now had my repeat business, and I have never felt as though Ive been taken advantage of. Ever. I can heartily recommend them to anyone looking for ethical, solid mechanical repair or service. And Bonus: Theyre all genuinely nice people!!

5 /5 James Roddy: Every time I come here I have a great experience. When I first moved to Tacoma, Steve and his team took care of my personal vehicles whenever they needed maintenance. When servicing the vehicles he is honest about their condition and anticipates what they need to prevent problems down the road. When there is something wrong with one of my vehicles he is honest about the repairs that are necessary. Precision Automotive is a mechanic shop with high integrity and excellent service. They now service all of my company vehicles as well. Their pricing is very fair and transparent. In one instance I had my truck get stolen and when the police recovered it the locks and ignition were busted out and the catalytic converter was gone. He meticulously inspected and tested the truck after we got it back and worked with me while we dealt with insurance to pay for the repairs. Steve has even given me a ride home when he didn’t feel one of my vehicles was safe to drive and we determined together the repairs would cost more than one of my vehicles was worth. I can’t recommend them enough.

To ensure I was getting a competitive price, I reached out to Steve at Precision Auto for a second quote. I am grateful I did, as Precision Auto provided a significantly more affordable option, without compromising on quality. The customer service at Precision Auto was exceptional, and I am thoroughly impressed with their professionalism. Moving forward, I will only trust Precision Auto with the maintenance of my vehicles.
