1 /5 Kathy Kempken: 6 years ago, my father was brought in to Mount Carmel with a kidney stone, they said if he doesnt pass it.While in the emergency room, they would ultrasonically break it up or surgically remove it, instead they sent him home twice. 2 days later he died because rather than take new images to see if it moved they looked at the original imaging and said it didnt move. Seriously of course it didnt move, cause youre looking at old imaging. Because of their negligence, it blocked my fathers kidney, causing sepsis. Now my mother is going through the same thing. And again, they said its too big to pass and they sent her home and told her to follow-up with her primary doctor but to come back in if a fever spikes. At this point, if she gets a fever, her kidney is already blocked and sepsis has set in deja vu. I have absolutely no faith in Mount Carmel hospital. I would rather travel a 100 miles to a hospital. Then go to that hospital. They are negligent They are filthy and they dont care about their patients. All they care about is their bottom line, worst hospital ever.
