Providence West Olympia Immediate Care - Olympia Betty Varpness: The nurse and Dr Dan whom I saw today were the best care team anyone’ could ask for.
They are so kind and thoughtful as well as being very professional.
One of the best visits I’ve ever had.
Providence St. Peter Hospital Emergency Room - Olympia Timothy Weiss: Limited parking on the emergency side of the hospital. I have had to go there several times. Sometimes I get in immediately and sometimes it is as long as three hours depending on crowd and their triage system. One time after waiting two hours I just left and came back the next day. That time they suddenly decided it had become life threatening and got me in immediately. I ended up in ICU for two weeks after passing out upon arrival. Apparently that’s what it takes for immediate attention. The best times are when I have gone to an urgent or immediate care first and if they think it necessary they phone ahead. All three times I was seen with almost no wait after that. I am reluctant to go to them first because it usually results in long waits. When I finally get in the care is almost always very good. Staff is excellent and doctors knowledgeable.
Dr. Thomas J. Duncan, MD - Olympia Alisha: Dr Duncan has been my provider for over 3 years. He is absolutely amazing. He is very skilled, excellent communicator, compassionate and has guided me in my health and wellness journey. My health is better than it has ever been. His healthcare model allows for same day appointments, longer visits and a very comprehensive approach to healthcare. Dr Duncan addresses the whole person not only a symptom. I highly recommend Dr Thomas Duncan and Duncan Integrative Health. When you enter the atmosphere is positive and uplifting. Melody is an absolute gem - upbeat and welcoming. The entire team is simply amazing. Consider Duncan Integrative Health for all of your primary healthcare needs.
Sea Mar Olympia Medical Clinic - Olympia Kae: I have been taking my boys to Dr Raj for almost 7 years and feel hes a phenomenal physician. None of my kids have reoccurring medical issues, but with children, injuries and illnesses do pop up. He shows what I feel to be the perfect balance of concern without overreacting and over medicating. Hes proven over time that I can trust him when he says something needs to be taken seriously vs will resolve itself. Hes engaging and listens and his nurses are very friendly. The facilities certainly are not grand, but he is a fantastic doctor.
Advice on long waits: you will be there a while if you have an afternoon appt. For whatever reason, things pile up after lunch and you can be waiting upwards of an hour to get back to a room. I schedule for morning appts, arriving somewhere around 9-10am, and we are always back within 10 mins of our appt time. The office staff can be curt on the phone (I think theyre understaffed), but Ive always found them to be very polite in person. One thing I appreciate is when I call the day of for some ear infection or injury, they will put me on hold, relay the issue to Dr Raj and ask him what hed like to do, and they have always made a way to squeeze us in.
MultiCare Olympia Family & Internal Medicine - Olympia Florence Lamar: 1st time experience. I liked my nurses. IV needle done wrong, put me in a lot of pain. Took 12 hrs. to get a hospital room. 2 of the Drs. I didnt like. I did like a couch/ bed for my guest/ caregiver. Very spacious rm, private. I thought I would receive physical therapy, but didnt. I felt safe there. No forced drugs. They listened to me.
Staff was nice. I got in within 10 minutes. There were 45 people waiting for their turn. I would go back again!!!
Duncan Family Medicine & Integrative Health - Olympia Ashley B: Words cannot describe how incredible Dr. Duncan and his team truly are. They set the bar extremely high in the medical industry! You cannot find this level of care these days and when I say “care”, I mean caring for you and about you. Dr. Duncan treats patients with empathy, kindness and truly takes the time to listen. From the moment I walk through the door, I always feel so welcome! His team goes the extra mile to help patients and they are just amazing! “Above and beyond” is an understatement for these incredible humans! My only regret is not finding him sooner! The world needs more doctors like Dr. Duncan!
Providence Swedish Obstetrics and Gynecology Olympia - Olympia Havilah Sabella: Never have I been treated so poorly and hypocritically. While half the staff wasnt wearing masks, they kicked my fiance out of the ultrasound appointment for not wearing a mask. But I didnt have to wear one. The time spent arguing with us was longer than the actual ultrasound. They have now said he isnt welcome back to the office. If the father of the child they planned to deliver isnt welcome, neither are we. Not all the staff are terrible here, but enough of them are to highly recommend not going here. I would also like to add that the lady performing the ultrasound had huge gaps on the sides of her mask. Rendering it completely useless. Virtue signaling at its finest.
Tui Lauilefue, MD, NiuOla Health - Olympia liz wells: Dr. Tui has been my physician for a few years now. Her and her medical assistant Tessa are very professional in their role. They take their time to fully understand your concerns with their undivided attention. They do their best to take care of those needs and to answer your questions. There has never been a time where I felt rushed in my appointment, my time was well respected. Tui and Tessa are very responsive and available with call, text or portal message. I pray they never leave because they are the best and I dont want to lose them.
Rapid Orthopedic Urgent Care - West Olympia - Olympia Karen Kowalski: Good doctors and good staff. Always professional. Billing dept does good job with insurance. They accept a wide variety of insurance. It is a walk-in clinic so you have to wait your turn, but they give a good service. Ive used them multiple times through the past 10 years or so - they are always solid. I appreciate that they are open 7 days a week with no appointment required.
