1 /5 Brekyn Worbes: ER didnât treat my partner for his illness. The doctor tested him for strep but told the nurse he didnât and that they needed to test again. The nurse almost tested him again until we said something! Communication wasnât going on very well with the faculty. The patient rooms also have phones in them, but didnât tell us not to answer it. When we heard it ring, we thought maybe it could be the lab with results or something then learned that it was people trying to get hold of the ER. Luckily we didnât answer the phone! Didnât communicate with us well at all. The doctor said my partner didnât have strep (so no meds), but didnât test or ask any further questions on how to treat him. We had to ask questions for us to get answers on how to treat him or what was even going on. It was horrible. I felt like we were better off googling what was going on! My partner ended up having awful ear infection in both ears day later. The Colville walk in clinic was so much more caring and treated him way better. I highly suggest going to walk in even if you have to wait for it to open, rather than going to the ER. I personally would rather risk going to Spokane for an emergency because thatâs how long of a wait it was to not even get treated properly. However, the nurse and desk staff/clerks were very sweet.
