The mechanics there did outstanding work on my Nissan Versa—fixing my front brakes, replacing the intake manifold gasket, installing new spark plugs, and taking care of a couple of ignition coils. They were thorough, professional, and got everything done in a timely manner. What really stood out was their honest communication and the great price they gave me as a military veteran. It’s not easy to find a shop that’s this upfront and respectful of your time. My car is running smoother than ever, and I’m definitely coming back the next time I need work done. christina masters: This is my sons car he bought at Carhop in Tacoma. This picture was taken April 12 2024, on the I-5 Parkland off-ramp only 20 minutes from picking his car up from Bitterling’s Auto Repair in Tacoma. This car has broken down at least three or more times since he bought it February 24th, 2024. I have had to pick him up several times from Bitterling’s Auto Repair in Tacoma. Bad Service Shop-they told him there is nothing wrong with his car. My son had to replace the battery and buy tools to remove the old battery just to get it off the freeway off ramp before getting towed. While waiting in my car at Bitterling’s Auto Repair, I did notice other Carhop paper license plates in their shop area. Just take precautions while buying a used car.

Silas S.: Wouldn’t recommend this place for tire install. Ordered tires online, this shop was offered as one of the install locations. My appointment was at 8am and I was told it would take a couple hours at drop off. I didn’t hear from them so I went back at 3pm and then waited another 45 minutes for them to finish. Guy at front desk said their machines are outdated and they were having rebalance issues, he mentioned I’d need to take it to a tire shop if I have any issues. Less than ideal to take my vehicle to two different shops for tire installation.

Samantha McLenachen: We love our almost-20-year-old Ford Escape and still depend on it daily for our business. Its always a bummer when something goes wrong, and two weeks ago something did. Our alternator wasnt working any longer, and we brought the car to Titus-Will Service and Tire Center on Broadway. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and paid attention to every detail. In addition to a new alternator, they noticed that the ignition coils were in bad shape and needed replacing. Their communication was consistent and professional, which we really appreciated. I was so impressed with their service and the fact that theyve been operating out of that downtown location for over 80 years that I asked for a full shop tour for our homeschool group. They treated all the kids to a fun and educational experience. I highly recommend this family owned service center thats been keeping drivers in the Tacoma area on the road since the 1930s.
