Sun Hair & Nail Salon - Olympia (WA)

5 /5 L Breed: This was my first appointment with Sun Hair and Nail Salon, but it wont be my last. Yvonne was very knowledgeable about working with baby fine hair. She listened to my concerns and shared her thoughts about how to cut my hair for the most volume and ease of care. We recently moved to Olympia and I told her that finding a stylist who understood fine hair was more stressful than finding a primary care doctor, but Yvonne reassured me and I ended up with an excellent cut that will be easy to maintain. I appreciate her for her expertise and also her kind and caring personality. The salon is attractive, clean and was very busy in a good way. I am very happy to have found Yvonne!

5 /5 Zoe Muons: Yvonne is a miracle worker. Truly. I am a 76yo female with hair loss and she did a wonderful job of not only cutting it, but also teaching me very easy ways to style it myself. I am so happy to have found her! And BTW, I found her after complementing two unrelated friends on their haircuts and both told me that it was Yvonne. Easy decision! Go! You will not be disappointed!

They graciously invited me in and gave me the best shampoo with scalp massage and haircut Ive had in a long time. Thank you for the outstanding service!

2 /5 Vx Vixen: I am pretty disappointed with the quality of their work. But Im giving 2 stars because I went it as a walk in last minute and they accepted me, they were nice and even offered complimentary snacks and hot tea which was different. I paid $60 for a mani & pedi and they just rushed through everything, the pedicurist scratched my ankle while doing the callus removing, the manicure hardly addressed my cuticles. (I even mentioned that they looked dry and needed some attention.) she said shed work on them after the polish dried, and never did. They were pretty persistent and upgrading to gel polish, and seemed up happy that I just wanted a regular manicure. And after everything less than 48 hours later my manicure literally fell apart. It didnt chip like normal polish usually does but lifted off. I could peel it off completely... Im from California and travel a lot for work. Am constantly trying new places and leave reviews for the next person looking for something good. All I can say is that Im extremely disappointed with the results of this place, hopefully in the future they chose to have decent quality brands for regular polish, not just gel.
