1 /5 Lucylle Margaros: I had a walk in on Thursday afternoon and left paying 180 and went into tears. I sat in the chair I heard broken English remarks about my long leg hair from the girl and my young appearance from the men. They continue to remark about my appearance from how my clothes make me look young (I had on overalls), the broken English ensues, I hear them speaking about my mom, in regards that it was someone else’s money that was paying for the unprofessional service. There mentioned something about my shirt being a low cut. I began to want to walk out once another approached me and asked me for my top color and I showed him a picture, he suggested a different color than what I liked and I politely declined and suggested different, he said no, that’s what the picture looks like. They begin to talk about what I wanted done with my nails and the lady servicing me, in broken English told them that I was nice and to stop. Next, I got approached by another nail tech and asked where I was going after this and how I found the place. I replied telling them this is my 21st birthday treat and i was in the area to find relaxing services. They begin to collectively talk about my replies in broken english, to make offensive unprofessional comments about how young I was, that I ran away from home and I was using grandma or moms money, that I was pretty but then I hear laughing and the comment was made, “white washed Indian”, they asked me how I moved here and if I lived alone. Each one of my replies was aired out publicly in their language so I felt like they were demeaning me. One would ask something derogatory and the one servicing would tell them my reply. My replies were not what they suspected and I overheard comments being made that I took off my wedding ring and I’m using my husbands money when they learned I’m not so young and I’m financially independent. The services ends with the same comment we started with, “she’s nice. Stop or she won’t tip.” All in all, I understand culture and language barriers but this was an unacceptable three hours of service. I was afraid to speak up for myself and have them act even ruder so please next time do better :) I gave a great tip and I would not mind returning if the staff did not seem so toxic and negative! Additionally, this is what I asked for and this is what I got. (Three hours of unprofessional service later and completely not what I asked for)
