1 /5 Aly L: Be cautious before bringing your pets here. (My dog happy and healthy at the end of this story). I brought my dog in about a year ago because she was acting strange. Vet said she might have an upset tummy so prescribed some meds and special food. A week later, sheās worse, not playing as much, not eating, so I bring her in. Vet said maybe she just something stuck, they took an X-ray. They then tell me that she may have hip dysplasia and needs to see someone right away (her hips were completely fine, not the issue). A week later, sheās worse, whole body was cold, sleeping a lot, and not eating/drinking, I bring her in. Doctor said she was fine, the cold body is normal and she just needs more time. That night we took her into an different emergency vet. Turns out she was extremely dehydrated, her blood wasnāt pumping properly and she had Addisonās Disease. She could have died if we didnāt take her in that night. The emergency vet saved her life. I told the doctor at THIS hospital what happened and his response was āI was going to say that.ā
