5 /5 JL Hawks: My mom was brought in to the ER by the aid unit. The staff called to tell me that CPR was in progress. The nurses, Dr. and staff were all very thoughtful and patient while I processed what was happening. This was sudden for us and Emily the nurse was so very helpful and kind. The Dr. kept me informed me of the situation and in the end she did not make it. I appreciate everything the folks in the ER did for me and my mom that day. They were amazing.

2 /5 Rissa DeMore: i ended up here a while back with an abdominal migraine. the staff is generally nice and they got me seen very quickly but the doctor i saw refused to believe abdominal migraines were a thing and while i was in the waiting room one of the staff yelled across the building, and to everyone waiting, that i was a junkie and having withdrawals which SEVERELY violates HIPPA and was a disgusting assumption as i dont touch any drugs. they refused to give me any actual treatments and i ended up checking out and going to a different hospital. i definitely wouldnt recommend going here unless you only have a minor emergency

1 /5 L Helms: I was a patient between 2016-2019 so this is in regards to that time, but the practice at this hospital was so ingrained that I dont believe it will have changed. They were discriminating against women in that they were not providing any service to women for womens health including pap smears or pregnancy, all across the board. It was so bad that young married couples knew to move out of town if they wanted to have children because even if a woman came into the emergency in labor she would not be treated but she was shipped to the hospital of her choice or to Olympia. My sister had cancer of the cervix in her 40s after 4 children so she I am high risk. I was seeing a doctor there at the hospital and he declined to do the required pap smear for me but he would refer me after I really, REALLY, pressed the issue. So YES, they discriminate against women AND the community has become complacent and oppressed by their bullish behavior.

1 /5 Andre Hachtel: In for high temp and fall had the wrong ostomy bags causing skin problems making it more difficult to keep a bag on nurse tearing the adhesive and hair off my chest waited 30 minutes in the cold with a tee shirt to catch a bus I was ambulanced.to the hospital the ambulance experience was very good Raymond fire great job

5 /5 Angela Bentley: I had surgery here to get my gallbladder out and hernia repair. Everything went well. They treated me great. The surgeon, Dr. Outfield takes his time with you and cares. My son blew his knee out and another time cut his hand so bad he needed to go to the ER. They helped him in a timely manner and treated him well. The nursing staff have always been great, they are down to earth and dont ignore you. I have no problems going to this hospital and would recommend it. It is a small hospital, but theyve never had a problem treating my family.

Decima N: If you value your health, please do not go to this clinic. The physicians at this clinic will miss diagnose you, over medicate you, and they will withhold medications that could provide relief for you as well. After being a patient at this clinic for five years, I finally was fed up and went to a different doctor, my new doctor can’t understand half of my medical records that was sent to her because none of them makes sense. The medication that was prescribed to me was done with zero blood work to see if the dosage was correct. Blood work that should’ve been repeated every six months was never done outside the initial check either. I was repetitively prescribed medication that my insurance would not cover and then could not get a hold of my doctor for days and would be forced to go to the ER to be treated. At one point I was even prescribed a medication that reacted poorly with something else I was prescribed by the same doctor and had a mild seizure. When I informed the clinic and my doctor of this, I was told repetitively that I don’t know what a seizure is and that’s not what happened at all. I must’ve been confused and fainted. (Even with witnesses who saw it happen) My current doctor thoroughly believes that I should’ve filed paperwork with the state for malpractice.

Dr. Bell, checked my symptoms & I was out, just as quickly as I came in. My influenza A apparently spending too much time in my lungs. Thank you, this evening Im already feeling a tad better!!!

A E: As soon as you walk in its a very open and clean facility. I havent seen the medical portion of it yet, as my appointment is not for a bit. However their dental staff is amazing! The receptionist was very kind and sweet. The dental hygienist was so kind and thorough during the x rays and Dr. Russell is the absolute sweetest dentist I have ever had in my life! I am so glad I established dental care through New health. I am praying that the medical portion is the same experience that I received in dental!

Patricia Albo: Newport Health Care Center is the neighborhood Hospital. Ok, so Im not being politically correct here calling it Newport Hospital as it used to be. I guess its been a while since I lived up there. Its an alright hospital, people from a small town work there so you know theres going to be a small town comfortableness going on here. Sometimes its even your very own neighbors taking care of you when you are a guest at this hospital. The nurses where my family member frequently stayed, (no names mentioned) were just like family to all the rest of my real family and our patient was very well taken care of when he stayed there. He loved the staff and sometimes we had to talk him into going home! That should be proof of how well he was taken care of!

Allenmore Hospital & Medical Center - Tacoma

Lisa Huizar: I should explain my rating is not for allenmore hospital as much as the lab technician that didnt want to assist me and my special needs daughter this Sunday 11/17/2024. My daughter needed lab work requested by her endocrinologist ASAP. I was excited that Allenmore was open on Sunday so I could get them done, as they were so urgent to getting my daughter the medication she needs. Again my daughter is special needs ( down sydrome) to be exact. We came into the laboratory department at about 10 am and there was 1 couple waiting in the lobby with a baby. The red headed attendant or lab technician took care of them about 15 min after my daughter and I arrived. We filled out the sign in paper 1015am and sat down to wait. A kind lady with her mom came in when I was setting down my green sign in paper. She aldo filld her green sheet and then sat down to wait. After the couple came out the red headed tech went to the computer and it took her 20 min to print out the lab papers which I assumed were for my daughter but when she came out she called the older ladys name. I was upset because I was going to be late and the ladies daughter heard I was running late. She told the tech I was next but she was so rude and said I got there 25 min after everyone. At this point there was another couple there too. The tech then said what your last name anyways. I could tell she wasnt going to help me but I still tried to wait for my daughters sake. I honestly think she was just racist as I am Hispanic. It saddens me that she didnt even care my daughter is special needs . She is also only 12 Anyways I dont people like this should work in a job that is so important for all of us. Eventhough the daughter of the older lady tried to tell her I was next she just didnt care.

I have asked them where my Wifes name was on the list, they told me there is no list its all in rotation. Theres only 9 people here! ...Funny highlight of my day was seeing a rookie intern spilling water on the keyboard in the middle of the waiting room and trying to play it off like it never happened, he scooped up the ice and put it back in his cup.

Nadia Helmy: As someone who has been to the ER many times (mostly for others, but including myself), St Joseph was not a bad experience. I checked in mid-afternoon, was triaged within 30-45 minutes, in which I immediately spoke to the Doctor who assessed me. My immediate needs were addressed with compassion, and my imaging was done within 2 hours after. An additional hour of wait to have my results. Which all in all, is not terrible and I would consider fast - I was anticipating a 12 hour wait at least. The only critique I have was that my next steps and care plan was incredibly rushed and unclear. However, my imaging was completed relatively fast with diagnostics, which I am thankful for. Again, my expectations were incredibly low through my many ER experiences, but St Joseph’s managed to get majority of the job done in a somewhat timely manner.
