1 /5 k Conrads: I received a coat for Christmas. It was a $100 coat. It was the wrong size. They didnt have a larger size. I brought the receipt with me. The gal who did the transaction credited the card that was charged. Im like, I wanted the cash or a gift card so I could find a different coat. She said, " Well, I already hit the button, and theres nothing I can do. I talked to the manager, who is very nice, but she couldnt do anything about it. I told her its the day after Christmas, why wasnt she trained to ask what the customer would prefer, cash or a gift card? Her response was Im sorry, Ill talk to her. I had to contact the person who gave me the coat and let them know they would receive a credit on the credit card, and I wasnt going to ask for another gift. Shame on JCPenneys we will never shop there again. This is why so many businesses go out of business. No customer service.
