1 /5 Angela D.: I love their merchandise, but was ignored my last visit. I knew what I wanted and picked things out fairly quickly. I stood by the changing rooms for a good while waiting for an associate but none ever came to help me. Since the Changing rooms were open I used one. No problems went about my business grab a few more items on my own. But right as I was about to leave to check out, I just needed to change out a pair of pants. I come back to my changing room, empty. No employees ever talked to me and I made sure I was visible the whole time. I spent hundreds of dollars at that store because it was the only place I can buy comfortable jeans in my size. When they did talk to me, they didn’t make much eye contact. I know they helped out another person right before they took my items, I don’t like to use the word racially profiled very much but that’s what it felt like. Edit: I forgot to mention, I am plus size. It seems from previous reviews that has been a problem at the store too. If employees have a problem with plus size customers they shouldn’t sell plus size clothing. Unbelievable.

1 /5 Katelyn Senecaut: went to capital mall today I went to the Maurices for the first time I’m not from Washington. I’m from Oregon. I’m here visiting and I had the most unfortunate disappointing experience that I have ever had. I wasn’t greeted. Did not interact with me. They did not look at me, but they were very helpful to others, but not me when I approached an employee and asked a question of Jean sizes. I did not , but they were very helpful to others, but not me when I approached an employee and asked a question of Jean sizes. I did not get the help that I needed. I got told in a very offputting manner our plus size jeans are in the back, and that was it that was all the communication. My questions were not answered. I was not helped. I was not supported, and I had to sit there and watch them go out of their way to help and support other people there or just fold laundry and not help anybody, very disappointing especially since I’m on vacation. I had planned to go to the mall to spend a lot of money on work clothes. It would’ve been such a sale for them and because I couldn’t get my sizes answered properly. The service was so disappointing. I’m sorry that you guys missed out on those really great cells that you would’ve had today.

3 /5 paula willadsen: I really like the clothes. Most of the time no one greets you and I have to seek out help. They aren’t busy and except talking to each other. Customers must come first. You really need to improve this a lot.

2 /5 J Low: I love the clothes in the store but the employees.. bless their hearts, they are some snarky women my god. It’s very unfortunate but it makes me not want to shop there, so sad too I love their jeans and sweaters
