Bobo Macharia I visited Motion Church last Sunday and was incredibly moved by the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and felt an immediate sense of belonging. The service was spiritually rich, clear, and deeply meaningful. I was especially inspired by the pastor—despite having just come out of surgery and taking a long flight, he still showed up with strength and delivered such a powerful, heartfelt message. That level of dedication and grace truly spoke to me. I’m so grateful to have found this church community and look forward to returning!

Michael Groome Reviewing a church feels odd because its not some local business. Nonetheless heres why I love this church. First off, you can read their statement of faith to know some of the foundations they believe, know that I agree so lets skip that stuff. They teach from the Bible. They mostly go through books and the sermons are not often topical. Every single sermon is brought back to the gospel and thats is the cornerstone of the church.
Second thing I love about this church is the emphasis on community. They want to encourage and show a loving gospel community. This even showed in what they call their "community groups", that being Gospel Community Groups.
There are no fancy light shows, though we do have some talented musicians and a wonderful sound team. Theres authentic biblical teaching and a call to live life together and serve the community and the world!

EllieJonathan McNicol We have been blessed by being a part of The Chapel Church since 2010 and we love our church family! We have grown more spiritually since starting to attend; individually, as a couple and our kids, too. The Pastors/elders have been so loving to us and firm about teaching the Bible to the church. There is no bowing to societal pressure to water down the Word at The Chapel Church. While there are no perfect churches out there, we definitely recommend this outstanding one!

Hyper Sports My daughter 1st brought me to this Church and ever since we would attend every Sunday. She would stay for the 2nd service so that she would help out at the children’s area. Somehow i got myself wrapped up in my job, and building a couple of businesses that I stopped attending Church.
One day i was driving somewhere and something told me to turn around and i somehow subconsciously ended up at this Church. My eyes were filled with tears, because i felt lost in life that I didn’t know who I was. I met one of the Church elder we talked for a bit because he had to be somewhere so I gave someone to give him my #. 3 weeks past and i never got a return call. I still attend Church every other week and I met 3 other men that are helping me overcome my epic obstacle. I’m still struggling. But I have their # that I could talk with Spiritual/ personal level.
I am so “Thankful” that the Lord lead me in front of these men !!!

Delores Kirkwood I have attended many churches of different doctrines (all Christian) and always come back to the Church of Christ. Not the first I attended, but what I believe the most sincere to God.
The Churches of Christ teach the Bible and why it was given to mankind.
They teach FROM the Bible each Sunday, not occasionally.
They do not tell you how to live, they tell you what the Bible says about how to live a good
life through Gods wisdom and direction.
They Truth, what God intended for you to hear; all of it.
The Churches of Christ teach it all - because like Jesus, they love the world and wish no one
to perish.
If you need direction, wisdom and prayer - and love singing as part of worship, visit a Church of Christ near you.

Haley Humenik The concern for anti-LGBTQ sentiment at this church is entirely unwarranted. This is the most affirming, welcoming, accepting church Ive ever attended. No community is perfect, but one persons actions do not define the overall nature of the church. This is a lovely community full of open-minded people who care about social justice and serving Puyallup. The liturgy is cathartic and the sermons are progressive and poignant. Absolutely wonderful people. Human, imperfect, lovely people.

Sarah Goins Today was All Saints’ Day so I came as a visitor to this parish. I went to receive Holy Communion on my tongue and the parish priest, Fr Richard McCallister, visibly recoiled and leaned back exaggeratedly while placing Holy Communion on my tongue. It was very rude, and publicly embarrassing. It is an age old tradition to receive Communion on the tongue (many Saints praise this, ironically) and it is part of what is culturally acceptable as an Indian person from my community and acknowledged by the Church presently as an acceptable practice in the liturgy. I have received Communion this way without any bad experiences at several parishes in Seattle and Tacoma. A very unwelcoming experience. One star for the good music and hymns.
