Emmeline I absolutely recommend Dr. Taylor and his office for your dental needs. I have been a patient since moving back to Bellingham in 2015 and have dental anxiety. He always makes sure I am comfortable and well-anesthetized before beginning any work. He’s also willing to look at an area again or review any questions or concerns I have due to sensitivity. The level of patient care shows in the details of how they even make sure to put lip balm on for you before they begin. The dental hygienists are all extremely capable and professional. The cleanings are very thorough and always include home care information and letting you know how your teeth are looking and where you can improve or if you are doing well. Everyone is always very careful to read my chart before any procedure and recognize that I might need more time or patience because of my anxiety. Scheduling has also always been easy, with availability if an appointment has to be changed, and contact & confirmations over text. The gorgeous Therapy dog, Justice, who greets you in the lobby and will go back with you for appointments also really helps!

From the start, Kenneth Taylors staff to include the two canine companions and the good doctor were inviting in a friendly way so as to quickly dispel a perceived belief that dentistry and pain go hand in hand. In fact, I dozed off while undergoing crown work, but hope they didnt notice :-). Long review short: I am just so very pleased with these two crowns that a silly smile is unstoppable every time I think about this wonderful dental work. K C Had my mandibular tori removed in May 2024 as they started to bother me after steadily growing larger from over 10 years. Dr. Kyle and his staff were friendly, professional, and best of all made me feel comfortable during the surgery. He even checks on your well being the next day to see if youre recovering properly. Now thats service with care! Also, since they were in network it cost a third of the other dental surgery practice (Esmail) that was referred by my normal dentist. Glad I found them on the internet. Highly recommended for tori removal and any dental needs.

He and every employee did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and safe. I highly recommend them, theyre the absolute best!

Update: I returned the following week for a random broken tooth, reception was beyond wonderful again, got me in, I saw a different Dr. and assistant who were just as wonderful as the staff from my visit last week. Angela Arave Dr. Shoff is an incredible orthodontist—kind, compassionate, and truly listens to his patients. After spending nine years in braces (with a different orthodontist) and undergoing jaw surgery as an adolescent, I wasn’t sure I could go through braces again as an adult. But Dr. Shoff has made what once felt impossible completely achievable. He has thoughtfully adjusted my treatment plan to accommodate my sensory issues, anxiety, and past dental trauma, always ensuring I feel comfortable and making changes as needed. It is clear that he and his amazing team genuinely care about their patients, and they have never made me feel bad for my needs. Though my treatment isn’t finished yet, he has already accomplished what I once thought was out of reach—closing my open bite that returned after surgery. I can’t recommend Dr. Shoff and his team enough!

I came in with overcrowding, an impacted canine and emerging wisdom teeth and Dr. Shoff developed a treatment plan that was cost effective and minimally invasive. Dr. Shoff provided a much better solution for my impacted canine than the painful, expensive procedure I had been recommended by other orthodontists. He also communicated closely with my dentist and oral surgeon to ensure that all aspects of my care went smoothly. Going in for appointments was wonderful, his staff knew me by name and were always kind and friendly. During appointments, the hygienists paid close attention to my comfort and made sure I always understood the work they were doing. After two years of braces, my teeth are better than I could possibly imagine (before and after pics below)

Jessica Rosetta Weve been going to Swanson Pediatric for a few years now. I have five kids ages 1-11 and theyre always so great with all of them, from lap visits through to the drop off dental work appointments. The play area is a nice thing to have for them to stay entertained while they wait for their siblings to be seen. Ive also had to go in for minor emergencys for my boys and have had quick response to the phone calls as well as efficiently getting them in to be seen. I know that my kids are safe with Dr. Swanson and his team, we especially like Stephanie, shes wonderful with the kids and is always the familiar face when we go in!

Leah VanderWaal I went to this dentist when I was litte and know lots who also heve experienced this place, and its not good. Every time I whent they always straped me to the table,it didnt mater what they were doing or how good i was. I couldnt ask for brakes or move even a litte. They also lied about things and when my mom started asking about it they acted off. Now I have a really hard time trusting any dentist, really bad anxiety and will not alow any work done without someone I trust in the room. I would not recommend bringing you kid here especially if they have a hard time with going already

Shemaia Im really happy being a patient here. Dr. Howrey is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and gentle. The hygienist is also very good and especially helpful with recommendations about dental care between cleanings. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. The office is tiny - one of many in the Dupont building complex - but super comfortable, with lots of magazines and a coffee bar. I recommend Evergreen for children and adults alike.

Amy Salerno Im halfway through a myriad of surgeries with Dr. Subedar and co. and I have nothing but gratitude for the way Ive been treated and cared for. Almost 2 years ago my teeth and face were intact but after a fall in front of the dollar store downtown on Cornwall many of the bones in my face and teeth were shattered. The projected outlook for the remaining was definitely not ideal. I was eventually ushered through 3 awful surgeries having only state coverage at the time to remove essential jaw bone with a bone file. Those procedures were deeply traumatic experiences. Despite being numb, the sensory overload of the harsh tools, unsettling sounds, and overwhelming smells was distressing and left lasting negative impressions, mostly fear. All of this in order to someday hopefully get subpar state insured dentures. My outlook was grim, and Id about had enough. Then I was referred to Dr. Subedar. Finally. Doctor Subedar explained everything he would do and what the outcome would be. We are well on our way to the finish line. Ive had multiple bone grafts, a sinus lift, screws and implants all strategically and delicately placed and will soon have the one remaining implant placed so that In the next 4-6 months I will retrain myself to smile and stop talking behind my hands. . Folks, Dr. Subedar isnt just a dentist. And he isnt just a trauma surgeon, hes an artist and he very much cares for his patients, the work he does and the time and effort he takes to do it. He doesnt want anything to happen to his patients and he certainly doesnt want to redo anything that a little expected maintenance or upkeep would have avoided. He has every right to expect that his patients take as much care of his efforts as he did. He readily gives his patients his private number, not just for emergencies but in case you have any questions or concerns. Is he stoked to be talking to patients when hes with his family? Probably not, but he still does it. For you. Hes a bit of an eccentric man and he expects, no, demands excellence from his staff and they give it. If youre looking for perfunctory or indolent care, this is not the place for you. So when you get a referral to this team, consider yourself lucky because you are going to get the best care there is, from the minute you walk in, to the minute you walk out and even beyond that. If the good doctor seems quiet or disengaged, hes not.. hes thinking.. either of how best to treat your specific situation or explain the unexplainable to you so you too can understand. Or he could just be thinking of the best joke hes got as to ease your mind. A++ everyone there, Ashoka, Lu, Brenda and assistants, top notch healthcare. And to the woman that claims that Dr. Subedar blocked her from leaving the room... Youre a funny fiction writer but you should think about the consequences your stories could have on the lives of others. Any rational adult woman would have called the police the very second she was "released" if in fact her story held a modicum of truth.. get a better story. You should be ashamed of yourself. Also where was the nurse that accompanies him during every single visit? And whats wrong with being proud of where youre from? A doctor that knows how to carry on light banter with his patients is admirable and smart. Plus they made a movie about the hockey team he played for years ago! Thats so cool! Hes not egotistical, hes proud. Big difference.

Janet Helm My daughter had just gotten out of the hospital the night before due to sepsis from a bad tooth. We were told by the doctors at the hospital to find an oral surgeon. I set an appointment for my daughter at Northwest Oral Maxillofacial in Bellingham. The receptionist and assistant were great, but the doctor came in the room with a bad attitude. Told us that he couldnt pull my daughters tooth because she would need to be in a hospital setting due to her complex neurological condition. He was very curt and rude in the process. It was difficult to get through the appointment with his arrogant demeanor. We paid $266. for x-rays and the exam we never got. It was a very shaming experience that I wouldnt wish on anyone. No compassion no Im sorry I cant help you. Just a lot of talk about what a great doctor he is. It was a strange experience.

Unity care holds a huge monopoly of the area only leaving sea mar which is iver a year out because of these monopolistic practices. Thia leaves many disabled and low income people without care and costs people their lives. These policies are Ablist and Classist

Initially hesitant due to the long wait for an appointment, I finally visited the office and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service from the moment I walked in. The staff greeted me by name and made me feel welcomed and guided throughout my visit. The dental technician and Dr. Jorgenson himself were incredibly understanding and accommodating of my dental phobia. They went out of their way to introduce themselves, discuss my anxieties, and provide comforting options without any judgment. My experiences with the needle, which is my biggest fear, were handled with utmost patience and care, making me feel like the only patient in the office. Their empathy and understanding, including sharing personal phobias, helped ease my nerves significantly. Edit 3/15/24: I relocated a few years ago, making it about an hour and 40-minute drive to my appointments. Despite the distance, the exceptional service and care provided by this office and Dr. Jorgenson make the journey entirely worth it. This office remains a fantastic choice for anyone with dental anxieties.

Hilary was able to get me scheduled VERY quickly to accommodate an important job interview I had the next day! Dr Jorgensen is awesome, professional, thorough and friendly. He is an expert in general and cosmetic dentistry and fixed my tooth in an hour! I was in no pain and felt well taken care of by Julie, Grace and his entire team. The billing department squared away the insurance the same day too! Dr Jorgensen has been my family dentist for over 12 years. We are lucky to have him and highly recommend.

Sandy Romango I had to have an emergency extraction and bone graft yesterday, 1-24-25, from referral to completion was 48 hours. Dr. Chen and his staff are amazing, everyone introduced themselves to me and explained very well what was going to happen. Thanks to the sedation and medication I can not remember anyones names! LOL I have never in my life come away from a dentist appointment looking forward to going back, I felt cared for, safe and confident that I would be ok.

D C Dr. Chen and his staff are amazing. My son had his wisdom teeth pulled by his (Everett) dentist, which turned out to be a disaster. Upon returning to Bellingham he was having complications, but being refused help from doctors (St. Josephs) and other oral surgeons (understandably) because he was not a patient of theirs. This is where Dr. Chen stepped in and truly saved the day! My son was able to be seen the next day! I was touched by the genuine care and concern for my son by Dr. Chen and his office staff. I was scared at first but after my consultation and meeting the nice staff and Dr. Chen who carefully explained the process to me, I was no longer as afraid. The dentists are a married couple and both just as friendly and professional as can be. I love their hygienist’s too. Everyone is always friendly and happy plus the dental work is top notch. They’ve replaced a couple of my crowns and done a fabulous job. I highly recommend them!

Heather Steele My first two appointments went very well, but I was disappointed with how a recent cancellation was handled. Due to the impending snowstorm and the 4–6 inches of compact snow and ice already at my home, I called the afternoon before my appointment to leave a message letting them know I wouldn’t be able to make it. I was trying to be proactive and responsible given the conditions. Despite this, I was charged a $100 no-show fee. I was told their staff were able to make it in (which is great), but there was little understanding or flexibility regarding my situation. This was the first time I had to cancel, and I was hoping to reschedule—but the lack of accommodation has unfortunately led me to take my business elsewhere.

Shannon Crossen I’ve been a patient at Southside Dental for almost 7 years. Been very happy with the care during that time. Recently, I was running about 10 minutes late for an appointment due to a family emergency and gave them a courtesy call. They would not allow me to arrive late charged me a $100 no-show fee. They lowered it to $50 due to circumstances. This was the first time I’ve ever been late and I see them a few times per year. Very disappointed in their approach.
