Sky Bridges Absolutely thrilled with my first long hair cut experience at Absolute Hair! Chelsea, the owner and curl specialist, worked wonders on my curls. Her expertise in handling long, curly hair was evident, and she delivered exactly what I wanted. Communication was superb, creating a relaxed and enjoyable appointment. The salon was clean and tidy, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. A friends recommendation led me to Chelsea, and I couldnt be happier. Five stars for this salon and Chelseas exceptional skills in both long hair and curls!

Jessica Gough Mollie was referred to me by the company that I wanted to get my extensions from, so I had asked their customer service and she did not disappoint!! My hair turned out the best yet!! Juliet Paola This is the ultimate Salon. The moment you walk through the door of this Salon, you are treated with luxury. You are offered your choice of beverage; be it tea, coffee or even a cheeky glass of wine at 11am on a Wednesday. Ryan always greets you with a smile and a kind word before he shows you through to Steven: a master stylist of note. Please dont even get me started on the amazing head massage you get when your hair is washed. The experience is unparalleled. Every time I have had my hair done by Steven he treats it as his masterpiece and I walk away feeling like a princess. Let me tell you, I have travelled extensively throughout South Africa, the Bahamas and the United States and I return to Cape Town just so that Steven can do my hair.

Julie Garmon Michelle is the best! She remembers what I like and does an amazing job each and every time. I live 45 mins to an hour away depending on traffic, and theres no way Id go anywhere else!

LeeAnna Ihrke The reason for my review is I wasnt able to connect with anyone. Every time I called I got a weird message that asked for my number and pin. I was not given an option to leave a voicemail. After several calls at different times of day, I was able to leave a voicemail. They called me back after a couple days, but asked me to call them with information about my hair. I was right back to no answering service, and it asking for my pin. I ended up going somewhere else. There are no hours posted for The Parlor on Google maps.

Brooke Wood Besides being a sweet person, Peyton did an excellent job with my hair. She listened attentively to what I wanted, and then did exactly what I asked for, all within an hour! It was a great experience. I also love the look and feel of the salon. Stylish, clean, and comfortable.

Briana Nordaker Ive had haircuts with both Rachael and Peyton and give them both 5 stars. They really listen to what I want and always deliver. I have thick, wavy hair that some stylists have a hard time cutting properly, but Ive loved the cuts, especially the layers, I get here. I completely trust them with my hair and what will look good on me. They recently did a balayage on my hair that I am still getting compliments on 2 months later and the color they toned it to is exactly what I wanted! For anyone thinking about booking for the first time, I absolutely recommend it. Also, the salon is always immaculately clean and its a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.

Rosalie W. Peyton is the best! I came to her with hair that was a mosaic of brown and red; a result of playing Picasso for too many years with boxed dye at home. I told her that I was hoping to strip all of the red out and end up with a golden, light brown. When I say that she delivered, she DELIVERED. My hair is the most beautiful it has ever been, she made it the perfect shade of golden brown with blonde highlights sprinkled in. The condition of my hair was very good after bleaching, she took amazing care processing the color. Not only is Peyton a master at what she does, she is extremely likeable, communicative, and easy to talk to. Would recommend the salon and her 100 times over. Shout out to Rachael for her help during the appointment, she is just as lovely. Thank you so much, Peyton and Rachael. You are my hair heroes!

Rebecca Ferguson I brought my neurodivergent teen daughter in to see Jess for a haircut Saturday afternoon. My daughter absolutely ✨LOVES✨ the haircut. Mrs.Rachel OBrien What can I say? Rachel was amazing! She definitely had a corrective haircut skill set for curly hair textures. We wanted to return before the first day of school, but she was booked out (bummer). Jennifer Pearson Cayla was amazing, I was visiting from out town and wanted my hair washed and styled for my husband Christmas party. Walked in last minute and got me in within a half an hour) she gave a great shampoo and the blow dry was so relaxing and wonderful! Lily Hughes I had a very good experience obtaining an appointment during a busy schedule. I was only in the area for 4 and half days and the person who scheduled my haircut was very accommodating. My stylist was Kayla. She transformed my hair beautifully without taking my length from me but also giving my ends a fresh trim. To others, my cut was subtle but to me, was tranforming. She gave me exactly what I asked for. Including allowing me to walk out with wet hair. Most stylists hesitate to let you do that because we are a product of their service, but Kayla totally respected that I dont blow dry my hair. Im not from the area, but do business in the area about once a year and I would definitely go here again and happy recommend her and this salon. Ive been using Aveda since I was a teenager and Im 54. Ive shared before and after photos.

Maureen Maland Cayla transformed me! Cayla is a master at what she does! I walked in with a grown out hairstyle and walked out looking fabulous. At Costco a woman told me my hair looked beautiful so I told her to see Cayla. I am able to duplicate the style and love looking great all the time. See you in 6 weeks, Cayla!

Stacey G Cayla provided outstanding service! I’m so happy I decided to return to Studio Donna. After moving to downtown Seattle a few years ago, I’ve not been able to find a decent hairstylist and was starting to feel really down about my hair. I arrived early for my appointment and Cayla was kind enough to get me in right away. She took her time and was spot on with the hairstyle that I requested, and she even matched the color perfectly after only briefly showing her a picture on my phone. I will be making the drive back for Cayla’s expertise.

Justina Bailey I went to Alexandras hair salon Thursday June 13, 2024. My Daughter made the appointment for me that morning. I wanted a wash and blow dry. Alexandra was grrrrreat! I told her my hair gets really tangled after washing it. No unpleasant feeling with her brushing out my hair. She is professional, pleasant, and has a lovely shop. Her prices are the best in the area! My hair turned out amazing! Give her a try !

Ian Alexandra is an amazingly talented stylist who is willing to spend the time needed to get your haircut exactly how you like it. Shes been here in downtown Everett for nearly 15 years now, making her advice on local business invaluable for a recent transplant like me. On top of everything else, she was willing to come in and open her shop up *just* for me, while all hair salons and most businesses are shuttered due to the unnecessary panicdemic! I dont know how you could find better service than that. Ill be coming back for sure!

Nathaniel Esquivel First time here and called last minute to see if she had any availability for a haircut. Alexandra was very welcoming and insightful about my haircut. She helped me figure out answers to questions I didnt know I should ask for an overall better experience. Definitely a great place to get some work done if you need it

Marie Anne After experiences at two other places for "okay" cut, I was happy to return to Alexandra because she is an artist who cares about her craft. 6in off, less weight with my thick hair, more volume, and great movement and framing.

Joseph Kriegl A 15 minute max haircut repair took an hour and a half. It took the owner at least a half hour just to find her clippers and other tools. The other hour was filled with abnormal interactions with a random pedestrian claiming to be a decade old customer as well as following my son and his mom out of the salon while I was still in the chair with the apron on. The current state of the salon was mess; it was dusty, had dying plants, and nothing was organized. The shop looked like it was under maintenance and she did state she was trying to reopen the salon. My intuition told me that she, the owner, was not sober based on various mannerisms and interactions we were having. My entire time there I felt anxious as if my hair would be in a worse state than I arrived in. However, despite the long completion time, the messy establishment, and very off the wall interactions; the owner was pleasant and I could tell she had a lot of knowledge about hair.

Mrs. Robinson I always get exactly what I ask for at this salon. Every style I try, it’s always beautiful and the hair she provides is great quality. You could have up to 3 people braiding for you, or just 1, depending on the style. They never disappoint.

Kashas World I have been going to Nadege for over 10 years now. I will follow her wherever she goes. She started out at her home and as over the years I have seen her just blossom into a self made entrepreneur with a talented staff! Oan she has THEE best edge control made and distributed by her!

Mahogany B I had high hopes when booking this appointment w Nadge on style seat her work looked beautiful online but the work I received was basic and sloppy my hair is frizzy and it’s only been a week since I’ve had them super dissatisfied and disappointed I will not be going back! Update not only does my hair look two months old already one of these braids fell out this morning with my REAL hair. I uploaded a picture of the braid and my hair !

Claire Tinubu-Karch It can be hard to find braiders in Seattle but I am SO happy I found Nadege. Her work is impeccable. It’s neat, efficient, and drop dead gorgeous. Each time I’ve gotten my hair done by her I am stopped constantly. She’s reliable and understanding, some newer braiders can have impossibly strict guidelines - but Nadege understand life happens while also being professional. Nadege has extensions for purchase also if you don’t have time or want to run to the store. She’s also and all around wonderful person to be around, which is a huge plus when you have to be somewhere for hours. Her studio is comfortable and easy to find, Nadege will also give you instructions on how to order food directly into the building so you’re not sitting there starving silently. Hands down favorite Seattle area stylist !!

Colette Green I have been coming here for nearly a year and everyone (Lee, Shy, Loveness & Toby) that has touched my head has done a great job. I always get asked where did I get my hair done, which is usually a two stand twist with my own hair and a couple times with hair added. They are very professional, reasonable prices and most of all very clean (sanitize after EVERY client).

Ash I took my mom to get her hair braided so I could do her extensions at home. The staff was super friendly! My son loves to say hello to quite literally everyone, and they were all super friendly and saying hello back, giving high fives and fist bumps. He was loving it. Mom’s braids came out great too! Definitely will be coming back:)

Therron Randle Now that I have time to leave a review I have to say that my experience was very smooth and helpful. Came in having only gotten braids once in the last 2 years didnt know much about it.....I grew my hair for about 8 months mostly out of curiosity. I got engaged and needed to look good for the photo shoot and wanted to get my hair braided. Showed some examples, set up a time came in and everything they told me they would do happened. Im super happy and they made it easy for me thanks guys!

Rabbit Sir (Sir Rabbit) I’ve been coming to this spot for a few years now to get my dreadlocks retwisted, and every time, they knock it out of the park. The service is flat-out amazing consistent, chill, and always on point. This last visit, they did an awesome job working with me to keep my dreads looking fresh, even when I was dreading the upkeep myself. Eric, the barber, is dope super skilled, cool to talk to, and just gets it. Hands down, this place is my go-to, and I’m always walking out feeling good about my hair. Can’t recommend them enough

Shawna Crompton My daughter needed lots of help with her tangled/matted curly hair, and Sharon did amazing!! She detangled it with care and cut and styled it so cute. Meeseeks And-Destroy Called to see if I could be squeezed in for same day appointment. Roberta was able to squeeze me in. I had the worst haircut from a previous chain haircut place. So I came to Distinctive Hair because it had great reviews and is very close to my home. Roberta was gracefully polite and asked me so many questions about what Id want for my hair, if I liked certain things, etc... Ive never had a stylist ask me questions but she knew her stuff. She would ask if it was something Id like she gave me options and told me exactly what those options would do. She created images in my head of how the haircut would turn out so there were no ugly surprises. She was confident and my hair turned out amazing. Seriously these are the best bangs and layers Ive ever had. I usually dont get layers but these are like GodDess-level on point layers and bangs! Roberta is a godsend I have so much confidence in this haircut. I will be back again. I have been to many stylists from Ginger Salon to Great Clips. Im so happy to say I will be back to make another appointment with Roberta and her magic scissors!

Sadie Allen Teena did my hair and makeup for a christmas party and she did exactly what I wanted she also went above and beyond to help me find some clip in extensions just by looking at a picture of my hair she nailed it! They matched perfectly!

Renée Winn Le does an incredible job with my dip nails, pedicures and waxing, so I look professional and feel pretty!

Angela Steele I called and scheduled my appt for noon. When I arrived 5 min prior to my appt time she had just sat down another client and said I’d have to wait. She ended up asking the walk in to leave and come back. I showed Tam what I wanted and she proceeded to argue with me that my hair was not naturally curly. To the point I had to show her a photo of me with curly hair. She blew out my hair after washing, cut it dry, and then refused to style it. She ended up scrunching my DRY hair with mousse while I was explaining to her she needs to do that on wet hair, she spritzed my hair with the water a few times and then said we were done. I got home and see what she did and I’ve never been so depressed. I will never go back. If you have stick straight hair I’m sure she’s your gal. I don’t know what I’m going to do now. My hair was down to the middle of my back, I asked her to save as much as she could but because she cut it dry, she cut too much, she touched my back in a different place the show where my hair ended and it was about 4 in shorter than she indicated. I paid $50, and tipped $10 because I didn’t know how bad it was until I came home and tried to style it. I’m in tears and will now have to get it shorter and pay for another cut somewhere else to fix it. You can see in the photo she cut the middle layer so short it looks like I have tentacles.

A S Took my daughter and myself here for the first time to get a haircut and wanted something better than supercuts. The hairstylist we had was so welcoming and so sweet! I have very thin hair and my daughter has VERY thick hair. She did a great job with my cut and my daughters. And my lil 5 year old was with us and she made me feel that he wasn’t a burden. The price is fair and the quality is amazing! She took her time and was very attentive and accurate. She strives for perfection and it truly shows. I would recommend to come here for a high quality cut. She knows what she’s doing and takes her time. She is a very sweet person too!

OLIVIA WOODWARD I asked for short curls and showed her the picture i wanted. She said I saw the picture and know what you want. She proceeded to cut off all my hair and gave me a boys hair cut. I will never go back again. I have to wait untill my hair grows out again and have it fixed.

michael First time I went in I got a shampoo, scissor cut with a great texture. I liked it. The second time I called to set an appointment at her convenience. I got a an electric shear cut with no shampoo, after I said like the last time. Now I’m waiting for my hair to grow back to normal.

Leslie Gascon Rosie was kind and caring, listened to what I wanted and made sure she understood exactly what I was looking for before starting to cut. She also ensured I was comfortable to provide feedback and tweak my haircut as I wanted! She was comfortable dry cutting my curly hair to make sure my curls looked good before washing and adding curl cream. Shes at least bilingual with Spanish and English, which is amazing! Her salon is clean and comfortable with affordable prices ($40 for haircut and wash, plus tip). Thank you for a lovely and relaxing haircut and style, Rosie!

Noor Khan Rosie cut my hair and did a fantastic job. I am a Muslim woman who wears the hijab (headscarf) and she was accommodating. I coordinated with her beforehand and she gave me a cut after regular hours and was able to give me more privacy. Definitely recommend!

Gabriela Cervantes Very nice and welcoming environment! I went in for a haircut and asked for advice on what would best fit me. Rosie knew exactly what to do and explained thoroughly of what she thought was best for me before getting started which was great and helped me ease any sort of second thoughts. After the haircut she styled it and it turned out gorgeous!! 10/10 would recommend!!

Kelly Corbridge I scheduled an appointment on 6/26 at 3:30pm for a mens haircut. Arrived 15 minutes early and sat down. No one greeted me, said hello, or even acknowledged my existence. There were 3 older women working at the time and they were all busy yapping about random drama. I waited until 3:45 (15 mins past my appointment.) and no one had even addressed me to let me know about any delays, etc. I got up and walked out and will never be returning. Poor service, 1*. There are plenty of better salons nearby, I would skip this establishment entirely.

Rachel Oaks I finally decided to do rainbow hair after wanting it for a long time and Ricarda knocked it out of the park! She was so nice and took the time to make sure she got the colors and style I wanted. Definitely recommend her for bright colors!

Em T. Finally found my salon and its worth the drive from Seattle! I struggled to find a Salon that cares about how I look as much as I do until I found Studio B Design. The staff took the time to listen to and understand my needs and took the time needed to give me exactly what I wanted. Ricarda, especially, was wonderful and I will be back to see her. Im pretty indecisive and she helped me decide what we should do and Im so happy with how it came out! The studio is darling, comfortable and perfectly maintained. There is ample parking - the lot is nice and located on the far side of the building from the main road.

LA Fantastic job! I have waist-length, thick, curly hair. Just wanted a trim and some layers and they knew exactly what to do with my hair type ☺ Will definately be going back. Side note: I spoke Spanish with the ladies but Im fairly certain they do speak English also.

Sarah Lynch I was new to the area and tried this salon. Not only was the cost more than I was quoted over the phone but the haircut was bad and she made fun of my color growing out. She even forgot to cut my bangs until I reminded her - she thought she was done. I ended up finding another salon the next week to fix it and the new stylist was shocked at the cut id been given. Fixed now, elsewhere.

Nomadic Bee Sherri, the owner, is so warm and friendly and really listens to you. Shes very experienced and always does such a great job on my hair. Highly recommended!

Maryjo c The salon is spotless. Sherri is professional, listened to how I wanted my hair colored and cut, and did it. They also use an excellent line of organic products which leaves my hair soft, no dry brittle feel. I travel further than I normally would to a hair stylist, but it is worth it.

Edith Scott Marie at Shear Perfection has been cutting & styling my hair since I was a kid, and now she cuts my son’s (15), cut, colors, styles, and advises my daughter’s (19), and cuts my husband’s…she’s amazing and is family! She runs her salon with high standards and integrity with a hometown feel where you can feel comfortable and respected. All of her stylist are held to the same expectations and are amazing at what they do!!
