Alisha P I have been going to the old location (A-frame building) for years and started going to the new location as soon as they opened. Everyone takes great care of me as if I was a part of their family and I always feel welcome. When I dont do a natural set, I usually let them choose the design and they are good about fixing things you dont like if you speak up. I dont mind that it takes longer than most places as it is my time to myself when I get my nails done and would rather them take their time than rush. I love this place!

Daina Shea I love California Nails in so many ways. As soon as you walk in, you feel welcome. Every employee always wears a smile no matter how busy or quiet the salon is. I am pretty picky when it comes to having my nails done, whether it be the shape or color; I have never once left unhappy.

Chrissy Previously I left a 5 ⭐️ because I loved the set! Unfortunately I don’t have access to that account anymore so I can’t just edit it (Teri Seavers). This time around has been very bumpy. First I needed to come back in and have the acrylic filed down as it was pretty sharp. I paid $75 for this set plus $10 tip. After 10 days nails started popping off, this never has been an issue. I went back and they were willing to fix them, but the result didn’t match colors and the gold leaf line is thin, not to mention it’s a sparkly gold instead of a yellow, classic gold. It took about an hour to fix and I wasn’t going to continue to sit there having them fixed. The end result still has sharp acrylic you can see. They told me the nails popped off because my base nail was too short and tried to sell me on a fill— I’ve never ever had a problem keeping my nails on for 3-4 weeks. I’m just very disappointed that I wasted my time and I don’t feel it was worth the money. I will be looking at other shops for sure. Edit 2/27/23: As I suspected this set I paid $85 for was horribly glued on and the shop keepers had no intention of fixing this mistake that they should have realized was on their end because “they’re experts”. I feel this was proven by the two nails I had fixed, that they tried to claim “broke off because my natural nails were too short to support them”, because they will NOT COME OFF. Proving when done properly the result can be a long lasting set. I added a photo. I hate them at this point, but they won’t break, I’ll need to soak in acrylic to get them off. THAT is how my ENTIRE set should have been but I lost all my nails besides the two within 3 weeks. That solidified my decision to not spend my money or time here. Take accountability for bad work charged to clients and fix it.

Rai Hailey (HailsRainbow) I really love this little nail salon. Ive never been disappointed by the nail art or the shaping they do! The pricing is really good too, usually for simple nail art at other places I pay $100+ I only paid $90(plus a big tip because theyre awesome)

Juin Henry Me and my step mom went the day before her birthday on 07/19/2024, they where extremly kind and it was a really good experiance, we both loved our nails. Phuont was amazing! They did mess up when applying her tips origionally but Phuont swooped in and fixed it and they both turned out amazing! Sadly her bows (the bows on the black nails in the picture) have since fallen off but that was due to some hard extensive manual labor. I would 100% reccomend this place though. I did ALOT of reaserch and found they are by far the best place in the area! They also gave us goodie bags with an amazing cutical oil. PRICE: $65 for the pink and white frenchies and $75 for the black nails with the bows and sugar +$10 tip on each. We also got our brows waxed and they where qiuck and looked great! PRICE: $10 per person.

Leah Ann I absolutely LOVE this place. Best nail salon in a 50 mile radius… HANDS DOWN. They never disappoint. Good quality work, at an excellent price. I’d give 10/5 ⭐️ if I could!! My nails and an eyebrow wax was 80$ before tip, and best believe they got a tip for their amazing work! Great customer service. They definitely put in WORK to make my vision come to life. I refuse to go anywhere else!

Lindsay McCoy This is hands down my favorite nail/spa place in Olympia! I only go here for nails and pedicures, but they also do eyebrow, waxing and many other types of services. I’ve been going here for about about a year and a half now. All of the staff members are super friendly, especially my favorites who are Ruby and Steve. I haven’t been to very many places, but from my own experience and others, I believe it’s the most affordable place in town. They are very skilled, and can create a large variety of designs. It really helps them out when you draw a picture or bring in a reference picture for your design. In terms of time, it’s best to make an appointment, but they do take walk-ins. Just make sure you have patience when you come in. Sometimes, they are very busy and accommodating walk-ins also means juggling appointment customers. They do free repairs if something is wrong or breaks. However, just be really clear with your communication and don’t be afraid to speak up during your service. If there’s a communication gap, ask Steve for help. I recommend reserving at least a two hour time block in your schedule for getting your nails done. They’re very sweet people and I recommend always tipping your service members in cash!

Kimmie Karch They did an amazing job... not only is this the only place that I have EVER been able to find who does AMAZING job on marble nails, but he did a fantastic job. He went above and beyond since I also wanted purple ombre nails. He made multiple different nails with different shades and techniques before I landed on this one. I have gotten so many compliments from co-workers and friends alike. I also wanted a butterfly (not due to their name, but to honor a loved one who passed a long time ago). Update: everything Steve had done has been amazing!! All photos have been done by Steve!

Danielle Taylor The place was okay.. the pedicure came out okay but I will say when they start adding things on your nails/toes that you did not ask for and increasing your total then it gets a little annoying because I did not ask for that you know? And also do not get your waxing done here I understand everyone’s experience is different but my experience was terrible the lady that did my eyebrows was rough kept pushing my face around, and the wax was too hot it burned me the picture is day 2 of my burn the areas still hurt, and it feels like my skin is so raw.. this was not a good experience and I hope they take better care of their next waxing clients because now I have to walk around with burn marks on my face for who knows how long.

Soumayia Bee Every time I come here…(which I won’t ever again) they charge me a different amount every time!!! I only get color change on my nails so there’s no reason it should go from $12, $14 to $20!!!! I go in with clean nails, I remove the old polish in advanced. And on top of that…they don’t have their prices posted so they are at liberty to charge whatever they see fit and by the time your bill $100, it’s too late!!! Be careful with this salon ladies and gentlemen!!!!!

Vanessa Adams My experience at Holly nails is 100/10! I came several weeks ago for a set of acrylic nails including one extremely damaged nail in the process of growing back that I thought was undixable! It was the first time and Pugh did a phenomenal job. I have been multiple times for fills and they are efficient, affordable and do a phenomenal job. I brought my daughter for a birthday pedicure and we had another great experience. It is clean with a great vibe. Would absolutely recommend to all!

Heidi Stinson Lee is absolutely amazing-whatever design I come with he more than captures, and is so attentive. The shop is clean and welcoming (they just did some upgrades that look great) and all of their staff are friendly! I came from a great tech in Texas, but Holly Nails surpasses them!

keona brewer I came in with huge nails that did not fit my finger or look good at all that I got done at Modern nails here in lacey. Thien saved them for me and made them fit and look very beautiful on my hands as well as charging me only $20. Two days later I came in for a pedicure and it was the best pedicure ive ever gotten seriously ! This place is family owned and all of them are friendly and talented ! I highly recommend this place & I am so glad I have found a new spot. (the first nails are the original ones & the second photo is after he fixed them.)

Susie Correa I got the most beautiful cat eye gels today. They were even able to create hearts with the magnet. We’ve been going here for a couple of months now and I will not go anywhere else. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

M K My mother and I got great service from the owner! He was incredibly friendly and talked to us about life in Vietnam vs. here. However, when my mother goes on her own, he is apparently not talkative. He also always remarks on how short my mother’s nails are, which is honestly obnoxious. She’s a practical woman who likes them short, so what? It doesn’t mean they can’t be short AND pretty. And he doesnt get paid by the length of the nail for a gel manicure. I just got a simple gel manicure, but it’s well done, and the color is gorgeous! However, it has started peeling off earlier than I had expected… Thank you for a nice pampering mother-daughter day.

Tay C. For your nails deserves your business. The nail salon is clean and stylish. I was greeted right away and sat down to start my nails. Lee Lee was an amazing nail tech. She listened to my picky requests and delivered with a smile. Her artistic vision gave me the most beautiful nails. Best nail prices in the Lacey area. Just look at my nails, the shaping and quality speaks for itself.

Alanna Guerrero If I could give them a zero I would give them a zero. Let’s start with them rushing to do my hands and nails at the same time and putting me in super uncomfortable position whilst trying to accomplish that. Then I asked for them to remove an acrylic nail and replace it, they flat out ignored me. Then the paint job. This is the worst. My hands are super clumpy,uneven and I have gel all over my skin and my toes are just bad overall, uneven and she didn’t even bother to clean the sides. Chrissy Foster Got my nails don’t here by Vi and all I can say is I LOVE them!!! I’m supposed to only have natural or neutral colors for work and I asked her if she could do a natural hombre and she killed it!! I couldn’t be happier. Vi is great!

sammy shaye will forever be my go to nail salon. the owners are family people, and set you a safe friendly environment:) it’s more like a friend doing your nails not someone trying to take money from you. they listen to what you want with your nails and do perfect. I’ve never had a good french tip until i started coming here. i never have an issue with how my nails turn out. love them.

Annita Fejeran First time here & me and my 9yr daughter had an amazing experience. We both got pedicures, daughter got a manicure & I got a full set! Danny was amazing took care of us he did our pedicures & hes the one that did my daughters nails. She had a great time. He made her feel so comfortable and understood what she wanted, gave her ideas and she loved it! My daughter wants to go back and only wants him. Vee did my nails and I love it. Cecilia Munoz Definitely recommend this nail salon, my MIL and I decided to have a last minute girls day and went to get our nails done. I haven’t been to any nail salons since moving here a year and half ago and we decided to check this place out on a whim since it’s across the street from where I live. Both of the nail techs were extremely accommodating to us being a walk in appointment and were able to take us right away. They have several colors to choose from and their salon is very clean and organized. I got an acrylic full set and my MIL got gel classic french tips. Both techs did a quick and amazing job and were extremely friendly. I’m so glad we came across this salon and I will definitely be back!

Brittany Olsen I have gotten my nails done 3 times there and all 3 times have been amazing. Always having amazing survice offering water as well as snacks. The workers are also super bubbly and happy. It’s making me think of getting my lashes done as well next time.

Narine Chamichyan Very beautiful salon and friendly staff. They were kinda busy but still accommodated my daughter and I. We did gel mani/pedis and left happy. My daughter did the jelly pedicure, and I did the volcano, which were both very relaxing! They have a large selection of colors to choose from, too. The only reason I docked a star is because I asked for matte colors, and they ended up doing glossy.

Megan Roberts I absolutely love this place. They took great care of my daughter for her birthday. Nie also did as great job on my nails for our Disney world trip! They offer mimosas and wine. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. I will continue to go back

Alana Esteban First time coming here. I made an appointment because I didn’t know how busy it would get. And it was pretty busy! I wanted simple holiday nails. Although they didn’t have the color in the picture I showed them, they told me they can make it similar and I loved it! They also made suggestions and recommendations and they were great as well. Very fast. And place is clean and pretty!

Shannon Crowe If you want a beautiful atmosphere and a nail artist that listens...this is the place! A gorgeous wine area with pink velvet chairs! I love glitz and glam and my nail artists equipment was sparkly and gorgeous. While I did not get the exact look I was going for, I left happy! Got a full set and my brows done, with tip $85. Not too shabby! Will definitely be coming back

Christine V I’ve been here a few times but this last visit will be my last. I got a pedicure and the lady cut something she shouldn’t have- my toe is red, swollen, and very painful! It’s been two days and still hurts. My daughter and I aLeo got acrylics and the pricing was inconsistent and I did not get the shape I asked for. My nail tech said they never touch the cuticles? I’ve never gotten my nails done and they looked so bad. This was definitely my last time here.

Michael Schroeder I had the most pampered treatment here. The staff is kind, efficient, and skilled. All the tools were freshly unwrapped from an autoclave sterilization. Everyone had gloves. Very clean spa. Only issue I had is the chairs are not built for large, tall men with size 14s, so the chair was a bit uncomfortable at times. When I mentioned this, the staff tried to accommodate me as best they could. I appreciate that. I will absolutely be coming back.

ky an lam i had a really great experience there! the staff were friendly and tried to accommodate you even when they’re busy! i did the online booking pretty last minute (the night before) and Pam texted me to confirm it, i’m so glad i got in super fast. Pam was really sweet and did gel x extensions for me and they came out gorgeous, just like the pics i showed her! i do recommend giving your nail artist a lot of pics of something you want because they’ll at least be able to do one of those pics well. super happy at the end

Lisa Coplen First time here. Had a poor acrylic set done at another location and they fixed it. Pam did such an amazing job! Made sure my nails were even and did the shape I wanted. They take great care while doing nails and the time taken when painting the nails, chef’s kiss. They ensure you get exactly what you want. The atmosphere there is absolutely relaxing and peaceful. Even a forearm and hand massage after the nails were finished. I will be returning.

Connie Rodriguez From the moment you walk in this place is so beautiful and peaceful! My sister and I came to get pedicures and she got a manicure. I had the organic pedicure where you can pick a scent and your foot soak, sugar, scrub and lotion are all the same from your own box. It is very clean and the staff are amazing. They were all so sweet and polite and my sister was able to get both services at once which she prefers. There are no surprise charges they let you know and verify if anything will be additional which I appreciate. I would recommend this nail salon to anyone looking for a quality nail service in a relaxing environment.

Kyla Till Oh my goodness. I love my nails. The woman who did them was very cautious about causing me any type of pain. (She didnt) made sure each step of the process is liked how they looked. Elizabeth Nelsen I love this nail salon and trust me, I am wicked picky about how my acrylic nails are done. Nancy is a master and Ive been going to her for over 3 years, every two weeks! Kevin is also excellent with acrylics as he does my daughters stiletto nails to perfection. Their pedicures are wonderful, relaxing and reasonably priced! Wonderful salon, wonderful people!

Avery Aresu Just went to Fancy Nails for the first time today with my friends who have been going for years. I’m a relatively new resident of the Tumwater/Olympia area in the past year and I’ve been hunting for my new pedicure home. Found it!! The lovely folks that work here at Fancy Nails made this the most pleasant experience. Relaxing and clean environment, attentive and friendly staff, great massage, attention to detail on the nails, and fair prices. I love my gel pedicure! Will be back again absolutely.

Skyla Dawn Walk-in welcome. I did call before hand if there was an availability for a Mani/Pedi. Just a heads up whatever package you ask for they will try to upscale you to the next tier. They did talk me into the most expensive pedicure but i was spoiling myself too I didnt mind. Not sure if Id get the gel package it felt kind of weird just an FYI. Not 100% satisfied with my designs. My pedicures did an excellent job with my base color and a so-so on my design. On the other hand my manicurist was the opposite. She did a so-so on my base and an excellent job on my design. Sylvia Soto I have been going to see Phuong for over ten years. I get great service and Im always happy with my nails. I dont get tips these are my own nails and she has been using the new dip powder colors. I love them they are so light and natural compared to gel nail colors

Jessica Crowe Yasssss! Im looking for a nail home and I think this is it! Initially, I ended up with a stylist who didnt speak English and I like to talk to the lady who hooking up my set. Im very specific and I need my nails done right. I guess the manager, Phoun, could see we might have been having a communication issue so she took me on and told me to make appointments with her from now on. I LOVE how great my nails look a week later so Ill definitely be booking that appointment.

Casleam Samuels I have been going to Prime Nails and Spa since June 2024. The staff are so pleasant and amazing! Great customer service! Ms. Kim is my favorite person though, she takes care of my nails so well! They do amazing pedicures and it definitely feels like a spa treatment. I recommend this nail salon to anyone looking for somewhere to get their nails and feet done. They will take care of you! I give them a 5 out of 5. They offer you a drink as well! The pics I added were some I took from the times I went and got my nails done. I took some pics when the dip was taken off and you can see how my nails look healthy and grow fast.

Rocky Banks I came in here on a whim today and was able to be seen right away. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and my pedicure and nail tech were excellent! They transformed my poor nails into looking so much healthier and I am really happy with the cool color selections they had. Definitely will be coming back, thank you! Prices are super reasonable :)

John Summers I have gone here more than a few times and am always 100% satisfied. I usually walk in and the wait has been minimal. They serve drinks as well. I have red wine with my pedicure. I have brought my daughter and granddaughter who is only 5. They have a kids chair.

Christina went in at 6 p.m. for 2 pedicures. we were seen immediately, which was really nice! The lady working on my feet seemed a little irritated that I didnt want gel polish. She continued to try to talk me into it even though I was very adamant that I did not want. Overall the basic pedicure was one of the better ones that Ive had in the area. The polish I picked was of standard quality. Took off a star for only doing half of both of my pinky toenail. Not sure why they were missed and disappointed I didnt catch right away. Overall I would give them a two and a half but not an option. Due to the slightly rude behavior at the beginning and missing the pinky toenail polish and some smudges on the skin.

Angel A It seems the good reviews are for manicures and I can attest that the bad reviews for pedicures are legit. It was not great. The tech was irritated that I didn’t want to upgrade. She was not friendly. Was in a big hurry though there was no one waiting. She was rough. Cut my toe nails different lengths and the polish job is lumpy. I paid $33 for a 20 minute sub par pedicure. Won’t be back.

Cloud Every time Ive been here, everyone is so nice. I personally dont care to talk a lot, so I enjoy that they are comfortable talking to each other and not feeling pressed to translate to me every few minutes, haha. I came in with a sleepy baby today that I figured would fall asleep easily as usual, but he got a little too restless, and they were sweet enough to hold onto him until he fell asleep. Prices are reasonable and the Service is great. I usually get waxed here also. When I have the freedom, this is usually where I come.

Eliza Beenen I Always love going to star nails and seeing Lisa. Every two weeks like clockwork. Really feeling this current set. Also got So many compliments on the Christmas nails everyone thought the beautiful snowflake was fake and that she had stamped them them on they were that perfect. Their prices are great. And the staff is so welcoming.

Rachel Williams This was BY FAR the BEST pedicure I have ever had!!!! Ben was amazing! The places I’ve been before I usually can’t wait for the massage to be over with because it just isn’t great. Ben took lots of time and made sure the massage was the best quality ever! He also did an amazing job painting my toenails as well! I am still in awe at how nice and comforting all the staff were! Will definitely go back! Thank you!!

Crystal Duke They were super friendly and nice. I wish that they would have put better polish or cover on my sons nails. They started to come off in 2 days. My toes, on the other hand, are still perfect.

Edwenna Schultz My experience was less than ok! I did not feel welcome! They used the same tools on everyone! They were in a bowl with a lot of other tools that were used on previous customers and were not sanitized. I felt like I was bothering them by being there. I had my 5 year old granddaughter with me and no one else was there and they were going to charge me to use their WiFi and wouldn’t let her watch cartoons on YouTube. I spent almost 4 hours and $240. You would think it would have been complimentary. The services were less than ok. Nothing special! I did not enjoy the pedicure at all. I had eyelash extensions and I asked for the hybrid and was given the classic which wasn’t as long, and one side is shorter than the other. I used the coupon offered on their website and they were not happy with that. If they didn’t want to use it they shouldn’t have offered it! I will not go back!

Laura Frazee This salon feels like a hidden gem to me! Although it has been here for about 10 years, I’ve just recently discovered it! Sandra and Heidi are amazing! They listen to what you want, go the extra mile and always exceed my expectations!

Samantha Chavez i went here thinking i was going to love it w all the reviews and the bad experiences ive had at other salons, but most definitely not a place you want to go to. for one when i walked in they were rude and didnt even greet me, two no one even talked to me, three they put stiletto nails i didnt even want and when i said i wanted square i got an attitude from the nail tech, my nails were so thick i couldnt even stay. the pictures on there website are definitely not the nails they do in person. im so disappointed.

Bobbie McGregor Chelsea (the owner) has been doing my nails for over 25 years. She does amazing work and always treats the customers well! She remembers names and faces, and embraced my daughter with special needs as a treasure...always giving hugs and being so patient and happy to see her! I have difficult nails and nail beds and have medical issues that affect how well my nails adhere and last. She adapts to my changing needs and my nails always end up looking amazing! A B I started going here about 6 months ago. Their gel polish lasts for weeks! A few weeks ago, I wasnt happy with the results of my gel manicure. There is a sign by the register from the manager saying if If you experience an issue, please speak to her about it so she can try to resolve it for you. Well she means it! I spoke to Chelsea and today I went in, and she did a beautiful job on my nails. I will definitely continue to go here

Shantel Myers The owner is amazing, she works 7 days a week! Is always so sweet and takes the time to talk with you and remembers you! She’s the one who did my nails she did so amazing! and all the other ladies are so nice and friendly! The prices are great! and I love that they are open on Sundays! The nail quality Is amazing they take their time!
