Mason Dave “Oink” Not sure about that ONE bad review but the owner refunded the money without the customer returning to the store. I flew in from the East Coast today and what a find! As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and felt like family. The Italian sandwich and the grilled cheese were off the chain excellent! The owners engage you and are involved in your dining experience. Everything is incredible from the service, selections, food, and making you feel at home. It was so good that we are driving back 80 miles tomorrow on motorcycles to get more. Susanna and Carol Ann are great people and easy on the eyes. Didnt think I would be in the Pacific Northwest in a small town talking about Tiramisu recipes, but it was great. If you call ahead, she might even make one for you. You need to go out of your way to experience this restaurant. Then you have the coffee bar with coffee, hot tea, and flavored water with real fruit. This place is a must visit. UPDATE: They did it again! Everything was incredible from the usual friendly greeting to the family style customer service. The BBQ was some of the best in the country. The salads are presented perfect, full of great tasting fresh ingredients, and good for you too. ALSO: Friday nights are family dinner night From 16:30 to 19:00. You get an entree cooked for to that day along with a vegetable, carbohydrate, and dessert plus a beverage. Right now, $20. You can call ahead to reserve, because its first come first serve. Karli Nieman Went in for the first time for dinner last night and we should have went sooner! We had the whole place to ourselves at first which was great with our rowdy toddler, and they were so accommodating. Food was delicious, and everyone was awesome. We had the dirty fries 10/10 (the sauce on them.. YUM) chopped cheese 7/10 needed some sauce it was a little dry, and the cowboy burger with onion ring 10/10! New favorite date night spot!

John L Ball Eddys has some of the best American Chinese food! Both the owner and his cousin are such nice people! Very personable! We love them. We drive 2 1/2 hours to get Eddys!

Steve Takata Subway is a great chain and relatively healthy. Many years ago when I was growing up in the south side of Chicago there was only one subway and it was 45 minutes away in Joliet. My friends and I would drive there a few times each summer just to go, and now they are everywhere. The breads are excellent and most of the things that I’ve had here been very good. They used to have a seafood salad sub which was my favorite, but I haven’t seen it in forever. Now I go to is the meatball sandwich with extra sauce which is messy but delicious. The subway is open until 10 PM which makes it one of the handful places in Colfax that’s open late And late at night. It’s not busy. At lunchtime, the lines can be long.

Cassie Chatelain I am over the moon for how amazing Fonks is! You guys, sincerely. First off, Theyve tastefully restored this amazing community landmark. Chefs kiss! But more than that, the PEOPLE are SO kind and warm and helpful and just lovely all around. This is exactly what ya want in a small town cafe. BUT ITS THE FOOD and DRINK that really gets ya. Like, pardon me... 5 dollars for an unreal cinnamon roll the size of a sleeping kitten?Yes please!

MG Wheeler First time in and we liked their pizza. There was a slight mishap and they made it right immediately. The pizza was very good, but about a 7. Now the raspberry dessert pie was a hands down TEN. Quaint little place...not bad at all. We will definitely be back.

Steve Takata This is a small deli Café next to the front door inside Rosauers. The chicken is very good.
