5 /5 Tram Ngu: Bogul Bogul has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Federal Way. Every time I visit, the food tastes like true Korean comfort, and this trip was no exception. I ordered the Spam fried rice and the fish cake soup — two simple dishes, but they were done so well.
The Spam fried rice was perfectly seasoned, with a great balance of savory flavor and that lightly crisp texture you only get when it’s cooked just right. It felt hearty, satisfying, and honestly kind of nostalgic in the best way. The fish cake soup was the perfect pairing — warm, comforting, and full of flavor without being too salty. The broth tasted clean and rich, and the fish cakes were tender and delicious.
The service was friendly, and the food came out fast, which I really appreciate. The whole place has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back.
If you love comforting Korean food or just need a solid, delicious meal, Bogul Bogul is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back for sure!
