Teri and Ken are always honest and complete in their assessment of the issue; they offer alternative options when they are able. They were willing to let us get our car towed here as a first time customer when we had issues immediately on moving to the area. We have now been loyal customers for the last 6 years and hope not to need them very often, but appreciate their safe and comprehensive service.

Marla K What a wonderful place with spectacular people!! I was heading through town, just an hour away from my destination on a Friday afternnon and broke down on the freeway. They helped me find a tow truck to get my car to them and they were able to start working on it immediately when I got there! They diagnosed and fixed the problem (my driveshaft had fallen off) and I was back on the road heading to meet my new grandbaby in about an hour and a half at a reasonable price (no price gouging)! They took care of me like family and I was blessed to have found them! I believe if I had taken my car anywhere else it would not even have been looked at until Monday. I cant thank these wonderful people enough, I highly recommend them and urge you to go there! Best wishes and many, many , many thanks to all of the staff!

Esther Kimber Working with J and K was the best experience! I am sure glad there are some wonderful people left in this world! My daughter is a student in Pocatello, and we live in Washington. She was stranded at the Walmart and we were so blessed that the owner of this shop was right across the street. He took time out of his day to come over and assess the car and actually gave our daughter and her friend a ride home to their house across town, instead of leaving her in the parking lot to wait for an Uber. Then the turnaround was so quick, so she wouldnt even miss work. When the car was done, he took it to her at her apartment and had her drive him back to the shop. Shes just a kid, and to have someone looking out for her like that has been the biggest blessing. Ill forever be grateful for the kindness and expertise of this small business and its amazing owner!

Cheyenne Martin I recently had a not-so-fun experience when I rear-ended someone. I took my car to Skagit Grand Central Collision, and I have to say, they really took excellent care of me and my car. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional and understanding, which really helped ease my stress. They kept me informed throughout the entire repair process, explaining everything clearly and answering all my questions. The repair work itself was top-notch my car looks as good as new! I was also impressed that they were so efficient and had my car back to me in just three days. Overall, Im extremely happy with the service I received at Skagit Grand Central Collision and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of collision repairs!

Peter Shosa After repairs needed to drive the vehicle for awhile before I could give and truly honest review. Having done that, I am extremely pleased with the work provided. SUV is running exceptionally well, had a annoying rattle every time going over a bump, that no longer happens. When driving, I can feel its a very stable ride. Gateway is through and compentent. jarathehut Took 3 hours to remove old tires and install new tires plus an alignment. A little long for work done but I was told my rims were wide but the new tire bead was narrow. The guys had a hard time trying to pry open the tires to set the bead so it was seal and hold air. They mounted heavy 35" tires on my f350. I was pleased with the outcome

Z LD Responsive to hand over a quote, but... terrible customer service, unfortunately. They seem very smart and knowledgeable but were unable to coordinate a time for me to bring in my vehicle over the course of four months. Taking my costly repair elsewhere for a better deal (half of A&CS estimate) with a turnaround time of a week.

Pnwtails _ I want to preface this review by saying that I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to car repairs. Finding someone that I trusted was a long, arduous process. A&C Automotive is right down the street from me so I figured I’d give them a try. My first experience with them was for an oil change. My car uses full synthetic so I was expecting a rather pricey oil change. Total cost came to about $70. Compare this to the nearly $100+ that Jiffy Lube charges for the same job. I also noticed that, unlike Jiffy Lube, they placed a sticker in my window for my next oil change. Instead of telling me my next change HAD to be in 3,000 miles, they wrote me down for the next 10,000 miles (common for full synthetic from what I hear). My next job for the shop was for strange noises I was hearing in the front of my tires. They were able to pinpoint the source of the problem and give me a detailed rundown of what was happening and what it was likely going to cost. I was given two estimates: one for $500 and one for $1200. It shows a lot of honesty that they didn’t try charging me for the $1200, regardless of the work done. The job was done in good time and I haven’t had an issue since. All of the employees are very professional and talk to me like a person. Being a woman, it’s common for shops to try and up charge for unnecessary work. I give a lot of credit to Janice for being so helpful and professional. Overall, I’d recommend this local shop to anyone needing work done.

Maleah Nore I could not have asked for a better mechanic for my Subaru Outback. Even though he was very busy, he was able to fit time in for a very mysterious and frustrating mechanical issue that had kept my car from getting above 40mph for days. He took the time to explain the issues to me, to make clear what my options were and what the repercussions of them could be, and to give me general Subaru ownership advice. He didnt overcharge one bit and actually saved me a lot of money compared to what I thought I would have to spend. He even cleaned my headlights for free. He fixed my car two months ago and its been running great ever since. Thank you Mike, you were a beacon for this young road-tripper. I will absolutely be going back to him for any mechanical issues I might have.

Bryan Robles Kris did a fantastic job on my 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution IX. I needed a place to have some work done, but I was always picky on where to go. Kris was able to diagnose the problem fast! He was able to get a new rear diff put in and had me on the road in no time! Communication was great and cost of repairs was better than I thought. I would recommend any of my friends and family here, because I know the job will get done right!

Michael Kelly Ignition Automotive built me a performance stroker engine and a full stainless exhaust system. Also replaced the rusted fuel tank. It drives better than new. Very knowledgable and helpful in selecting the right parts. 10/10 Service

Murray Comley I bought a used engine for my 2001 Nissan Xterra from JDM Engines and asked Jim Solver to install it. I can’t say enough good stuff about my experience with these guys, I made the arrangements from Canada, had the engine shipped to Jim’s home shop and then had some headers shipped directly to Jim as well. The engine install was done faster than anticipated, looks and sounds great, in addition he went over and above to package the old engine for transport and reconnecting my exhaust with the aftermarket headers. Jim... thanks a bunch!

Lindsay Ohlsen When my beautiful Jeep got wrecked, I called around to numerous places, and was told it’d be a while before anybody could schedule me in (“that’s just how it is since Covid”, backed up and unable to get parts), even to get an estimate was going to be over a month. Skagit Autoworks got me in that day and had the estimate done within the week, which was important because it ended up being totaled and we were able to get that process started with my insurance company. They made me feel like they would advocate for me, in re-establishing the car back to its original condition, and do the very best work, if it hadn’t have been totaled. I’ll definitely return for future needs.

Furthermore, Juan and his team were very helpful with explaining their initial observations of the damage. Doing so put to ease my first concerns and helped managed my expectations of the lengthy claims process. Lastly, their communication with my insurance company assured that the claim moved forward in a timely and efficient manner. This was particularly helpful in such a stressful situation.
