5 /5 Shan Kelly: Colfax Dental (and its predecessors) has been my dentist for 45+ years. Even after having moved away, I still drive 160 miles round trip so I can stay with Colfax Dental. All the staff is super friendly and good at what they do. I feel like they are "up" on the latest and greatest techniques. Their texts alerting me when its time to make an appt and reminders of upcoming appts are much appreciated. Their annual pre-pay plan is a great hedge against rising costs for those of us who choose not to take dental insurance. And most important is they have tasty teeth-cleaning paste flavors and my favorite oldies playing on the sound system!!!! I actually enjoy going to the dentist!

I finally made an appointment with Dr. Turner at Colfax Dental, who was highly recommended by my wife. I thought I might receive some judgement because of my neglect, but everyone at Colfax Dental was very professional, kind and positive about plans to restore my teeth. Dr. Turner and Rachel were great during my first exam, and have been consistently kind and professional in every procedure. Lori had the ugly job of deep-cleaning my teeth, and she did a wonderful job. Kelli has been very welcoming at the front desk, and she is a pro at making it look easy to take care of scheduling and billing. I have not had the pleasure of working with everyone at Colfax Dental yet, but my visits have all been great. My teeth are cavity-free now, and I am looking forward to my next cleaning. Thank You!

Ginger Cutten: I’m happy they were able to get me in the same day and the initial price is affordable. The problem is that the company is understaffed and over booked. I finally walked out after being there for almost 3 hours for a one hour job. It also felt Very much like a money scheme to me. As a customer I should be able to cut out unnecessary steps if I choose but I was not given that choice. Also I was very clear about my expectations and what service I wanted…instead of sticking to what I asked for I was constantly being “sold” onto more expensive work. I even noticed that the hygienist was putting all patients into the periodontal diseases categories….another upselling tactic. I might not have caught the constant upselling if I didn’t spend 1.5 hours of my 2 hour 45 minutes there waiting on the next person. Overall I’m really not impressed and currently don’t see myself subjecting myself to that kind of “service” moving forward. Also, I sis say something to the dentist while I was there and he did try to speed things up but there was only one dentist and five patients all waiting for him…. Corporate can do better there for sure! (The dentist was also very kind and gentle)
