1 /5 Seema Rezai: Avoid Crash Champions at All Costs Im extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Crash Champions. After taking my car there for collision repairs, I was appalled by the unprofessionalism and rudeness of their staff. Not only did they fail to fix my car properly the first time, but when I brought it back, they took three months to "fix" the problems. However, the issues resurfaced immediately after I took the car home. To add insult to injury, their manager, Rob, was completely unhelpful. We were forced to take our car to Toyota to get it properly fixed, out of our own pocket. The worst part is that Crash Champions initial failure to repair the car correctly has caused significant inconvenience and financial loss. When I tried to obtain documentation to support our claim, Crash Champions refused to provide it. Despite numerous promises to call me back, their manager, Rob, has failed to follow through. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take your car to Crash Champions for repairs. Their incompetence, unprofessionalism, and lack of accountability will only lead to frustration and financial loss. The front desk stuff doesn’t even care about your problem and concern!

1 /5 Kenn: Do not go here! I can’t warn others enough how awful this place is. There was no communication through the process, and once my vehicle was finally “done”, no one did a quality check or reviewed the repairs with me - I was just handed the keys.. I had to tell them about many issues that were left untouched or even parts that were completely missing on areas of the vehicle that shouldn’t have even been touched to start with. This makes me worried that they stole my original parts and replaced them with poor second hand fakes for their own benefit. They had no explanation for this. I had issues the second I drove off the lot, with parts popping out of place under my grill and wires coming loose with my horn. I can’t even imagine what else is faulty because of their “work”. I was also told by the front desk associate to ignore the attitude from the guy who was in charge of my fix because he was on his last two weeks… how was that acceptable? They also pressure the hell out of you to give a good review because “they take the reviews very seriously and they’ll get in trouble if they get a bad review”. They have no sense of quality or quality assurance checks. I shouldn’t have to be the one to go check my vehicle (ALONE) 3 times, just to find more and more wrong. I had to end up giving up because they clearly wouldn’t listen (without attitude especially), and they clearly didn’t care about the poor work. On top of all that, my “repairs” (or lack thereof) ended up costing $7,000+. It’s been about a year now and my vehicle hasn’t been the same, and it’s had many issues. Take your vehicle ANYWHERE else but here. And don’t believe the good reviews, because everyone is highly pressured into a good review by the nice people at the front desk. I wish I saw a review like this before going there. I would’ve rather dealt with the inconvenience of driving an hour away than going here. Save yourself and your vehicle. I’d give negative stars if it was possible.

1 /5 Odracir Num Ira: They told me to come to the repair shop to pick up my car but the car was not there. It was in a completely different location, making me waste multiple extra Uber rides (+$90 more than anticipated) and multiple hours of work. On top of this, now I need to get a new credit card. Why?Well, the credit card machine was broken. The lady at the counter had to call some of the other repair shops to do the payment and she read ALL my credit card information out loud in front of other 4 customers. GENIOUS! Now I have to get a new credit card. UPDATE 04/14 This repair shop is unbelievable. They essentially do not want to take responsibility for their mistake and theyre just giving excuses to not do it, such as needing authorization from some general manager, bla bla bla. I just got an email telling me to call them about this issue but then when I did they told me they didnt have any updates. What a sad joke of a place this is.

1 /5 Shay Frederickson: DO NOT GO HERE. I cannot stress that enough. I only chose Crash Champions because it was a preferred provider of GEICO and thought my car would be well taken care of. It was at Crash Champions for a month and a half and left in worse shape than when I dropped it off. I understand trying to get a car fixed quickly, but this process was absolutely ridiculous and beyond frustrating. I now have a Carfax on my Cadillac that will be an issue when I go to trade it in, eventually. I received feedback from them that they "were short staffed and many were not trained properly" - I have complete empathy for their situation as I work in customer service, but after the fourth time, the fourth chance to make it right and its still not right, theres a problem. To set the stage - my car was hit by an ATV when it was parked, so there was a huge dent in the back quarter panel that I thought would force them to replace the entire quarter panel. Instead, they took the inside of my car apart, tried to repair the dent without replacing the quarter panel and broke the entire inside panel so now it is not secured in place. I communicated with them for a month and a half and gave them chance after chance to fix my car and make it right. I even saved them money by not having them get me a rental car while my car was being fixed and drove a borrowed vehicle. I should have had them rent me an SUV to at least make up for all the time that I wasted sitting in traffic multiple times, to pick up my car, only to be met with a further damaged vehicle. When I went to pick it up the fourth time and saw they had tried to glue a piece down, that was it. I took the car and called GEICO, letting them know Id be taking my car to the Cadillac dealership to be fixed, once and for all. Until theres more training that takes place or qualified staff hired, I would not touch Crash Champions with a ten foot pole.

3 /5 Drake Knight: My experience here was much more positive at this location than the Newcastle one. I came to this shop after getting my van back from the other with a milky and splotchy paintjob, and a side door lock that no longer functioned, and rear gate that was off-kilter after the collision and wouldnt auto-close. My bar was way low, you can see my review other other location for details, but I honestly came here because it was easier to treat it as a warranty issue than attempting to open a new claim at another company or something. Overall, my experience was fine. There were some ups and downs, but the end result was good. The paint job is good and as a very appreciated bonus, they extended the paint job to an extra panel which took care of some unrelated damage. The time it took was much more in line with my expectations, and a rental was provided. When a slight delay occured, it was communicated, and I was updated with a new timeline. Less optimal were two minor things. First, the attempts to persuade me into accepting a repair not being made. The auto-close issue was explained to be an annoying fix. It was explained very reasonably why it might not be easily fixed, or might not be fixed by their easy fix/adjustment attempt, and I can appreciate that. What I appreciated less was feeling like they were making excuses for not even attempting, or being responsible for a more expensive fix if their easier attempts didnt work. It did, by the way, for the most part, so it ended up being moot. I just have a feeling it would have a bigger issue if it hadnt, trying to get them to actually fix it. The last minor issue is that when they rebuilt the door, the roll up sun shade is missing. I suspect when putting it back together, they either forgot to reinstall it, or its still in the door with the film end not pulled through the slot. I emailed them about this, and was told theyd place an order and get back to me. They never did. Ive chosen to ignore it and move on with my life. But I gave it till now when I got reminded about doing these reviews. I wouldnt bother taking it in for it now. Id try fixing it myself first. Just a middle of the road experience.
