04-2025 D K Hair Studio by Son (Within My Salon Suites) in The Best 18 Hair Salons in Olympia, WA (part 2) Salon 360 - Olympia hailie haubrick: Krista did my hair. I asked for a full foil icy blonde. But letâs start with her being an hour late. She was cool when she first got there after being an hour late. Once she started putting foils in my hair, she started getting crazy, nodding out, dropping several things, passed out while she was trying to reach for something. Krista was mumbling her words, and could barely even shampoo my hair with out spraying everything around me, including my daughter sitting next to me .when I asked the owner if this looked good, he responded âthat definitely needs a new foil thatâs not right at allâ Krista said it was fine and looked good and just what I asked for. NOT AT ALL WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE. I left upset and in tears I couldnât sit there any longer, not to mention I was there for 3 hours and 45 minutes to get this outcome⌠I called the salon and talked to the owner about how ruined my hair was and he proceeded to tell me itâs not ruined we just need to fix it. I didnât just spend 3 hours and 45 minutes here to fix my hair, for it to be ruined, fried, and very unhappy to go back for them to attempt to fix what they already messed up. 10/10 do not recommend.
LUXE HAIR EXTENSIONS & COLOR @ TOUCHĂ BEAUTY BAR - Olympia Crystal McLaren: I do not live in Olympia, so about two months ago, I had extensions installed by someone (NOT Bri) in my hometown. They were not good quality and by the time move-up time came around, they were a mess. I desperately started calling places in the nearest "big city" and I found Bri (insert angel halo emoji here). Bri got me in on very short notice. She got my extensions out and we discussed what kind of cut I could do for my damaged hair. She ended up giving me the shortest hair Ive had in 30 years (collar bone length at my request) and it is so cute! I absolutely love it! She is wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable about various extensions and just everything! Definitely my go-to girl now!
Also... Her pricing is reasonable, up front, and she doesnt nickel and dime you to death.
Maxwells salon and spa - Olympia Jenell Joyce: Pilar was awesome! Love my nails and the conversations we had. The salon is super cute and everyone who works there was friendly. Definitely will be back!
Studio B - Olympia Kaia McCabe: Studio B has been nothing but amazing every time I have gone to get my hair done. They have a very clean, fresh, and comfortable lobby and chairs with refreshments, the decor is lovely. The staff are all very friendly and super helpful, I had Kitty as my stylist and she was amazing! She made sure to work with my natural hair and hair routine and gave me suggestions for the best colors to match my personal skin tone and complexion. The haircut and color was perfect and I loved it, here are some before/after pictures of how it turned out.
Moda Capelli - Olympia Hannah Whidden: I got a wonderful haircut with Alyssa this week and visited Moda Capelli for the first time. I was very happy with the haircut and love the sustainable products that are featured in your gorgeous brick and mortar shop. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with our community! RE Berry Hair Design - Olympia Jennifer Jodock: Richard is probably one of the most down-to-earth guys youll ever meet. I knew exactly what I wanted. He understood and made it better. He is probably one of the best artists that youll meet. Highly recommend! He really knows what hes doing! I love my haircut Richard â¤ď¸ Thank you! Well have to do it again soon!
OH Hair Designs - Olympia Ambyr Goff: Olivia is absolutely amazing! I have never had a better experience in the past almost decade that Iâve been getting my hair done professionally. She was incredibly gentle and patient with my super fine, easily-tangled hair, and she was kind enough to give me some pointers on how to manage it better in my own daily routine. She did such a wonderful job and the color turned out better than I ever couldâve imagined. Iâve gotten multiple compliments already because of the fantastic work she did.
Olivia instantly makes you feel like youâve been friends for years even when youâre meeting for the first time. Her studio is also gorgeous and very comfy. Words cannot adequately convey how much I enjoyed my appointment with her. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Olivia for any coloring or other hair services!
Deinas Salon - Olympia Pamela Pratt: Dunnia is my hair stylist here. She especially loves coloring, but is good in every other category, and seems to me to be quite reasonable in her price structure. She listens attentively to my requests and follows thru with my wishes, which I have found to be hard to find in a stylist! Usually a stylist tends to want to just follow their own plan, or they are highly irresponsible with their bookings...Dunnia is responsible, thoughtful, and intentional. :) Also, she always remembers what we done in the past visits, as well as future plans. Love working with her!
OlyCurl - Olympia Mackenzie Fulkerson: This is the 3rd time I have gone to OlyCurl and if you have curly hair I HIGHLY recommend seeing the lovely stylists at this salon! The intake appointment helped me truly understand my curls and find products that actually work for my unique hair. The next time I came to OlyCurl was the morning of my wedding to get my hair done as I wouldnt trust anyone else to handle my natural curls and as always the stylists did an amazing job on mine and my sisters hair. My last appointment I only did a "Cut and Go" in which I got a dry cut, and my hair turned out fabulous! If you have curly hair go here and see these lovely people!
Gatsby Parlour de BeautĂŠ - Olympia Desiree Cavey: Kearia was wonderful! She was fun to chat with while she worked, she listened to my requests and transformed my dull and boring hair into exactly what I had hoped for. I am so happy and impressed with her skill with hair color. â¤ď¸
