Ricky Styles Studio - Seattle R Timmer: I am so frustrated with how destroyed my hair is after going to this salon, Iāll never go again. I booked an appt with Kayla to get my hair colored and to get a curly cut. I have naturally level 7 dark blonde hair (borderline brown) and wanted to go slightly lighter and showed a beautiful ābrondeā color as inspo but what I got was nothing like that. The bottom pieces got completely bleached and are lighter than the rest of the hair, clearly was left on too long. When she was shampooing the color out, she told me my color was now a level 10 blonde (as light as it can go), which shocked me as there was no platinum blonde in the pic I showed. Also DO NOT GET A CURLY CUT HERE- it is false advertising and they donāt know how to cut curly hair. I looked online and Kayla is the only one that offers this service, but what I received was not a curly cut, but a regular cut instead. She knew she tried my hair and told me to be very gentle with it for a few washes, but 6 weeks later Iām still trying to revive my hair. My curl pattern has been ruined. I texted them this and showed pictures of how it looks and all they offered was to have her fix it and then stopped responding. How can you fix a curly hair cut if you donāt know how to cut curly hair? I spent $650 here and will have to spend almost as much to get it fixed. Avoid this place at all costs.
Salon Q.E. - Seattle Aurora: I had amazing experiences with Erica and Zdenka. I initially scheduled a consultation with Erica because I wanted highlights but I wasnt sure about the specifics. I brought some reference pictures and gave an incredibly descriptive, well-worded, and not at all contradictory request for something subtle but still noticeable. Thankfully, Erica understood my intentions perfectly, and she did an absolutely stunning job! The color is very subtle at some angles but glows gorgeously under the light, and I really love it.
I also wanted to get my bangs trimmed, and Zdenka very graciously accepted my last minute request. She was extremely attentive and gave me the exact cut I wanted.
In total I spent about $350-400. It was definitely worth the price to have my hair handled with such professionalism and care.
Scream Salon - Seattle Stephanie Merten: My hair has only ever had a ālengthā but never a āstyleā so I came in to see Meg with a few photos for inspo and a lot of openness for their suggestions. We created a balanced shaggy yet sleek style that I LOVE, Meg was so helpful with input and styling instructions and really listened to what I wanted and what I didnāt. I feel like I have totally new hair on my head it looks the best it ever has. I appreciated their laid back approach and relatively quiet appointment - absolutely no pressure for small talk. Meg is the first stylist I will be returning to - THANK YOU!
Industry Salon - Seattle Courtney Lewis: Lemme tell you just how INCREDIBLE this salon is. I was tragically a victim to a horrible experience at a different salon, and I was in search of a hero. I was at my wits end going from salon to salon, seeking solace. It was looking bleak. By the grace of the hair gods, I found Industry Salon. And not JUST this salon, I found my girl Tayler (beauty.bytayler on instagram). If I told you that she took my brown copper disgusting hair color into BLONDE would you believe me? Anyone who has gotten their hair done for majority of their life would say it would be only a dream and couldnāt be possible. But Tayler achieved a color correction Iāve never seen before. She made my dream of being blonde again come true. Thank you to Tayler and the entire staff that work there. I was welcomed with open arms and everyone there was absolutely above my expectations. Ok I know Iām so dramatic but I NEEDED to let everyone know that I found the one. Love you Industry Salon
Kim Hair Salon - Seattle Jane Y.: really needed a haircut after not getting one for over a year. called and made an appt for a week out, super easy. very close to the light rail. kim did a great job cutting my hair and charged me a reasonable price (considering how long my hair was and how much she cut). no frills, no fuss, just a straightforward haircut. thanks kim!!
Cindys Beauty Salon - Seattle Glen P: Cindy did a fantastic job cutting my hair, sheās fast, got great attention to detail, and is communicative throughout the process. Sheās super sweet and charges extremely reasonable prices. Leave a nice tip! Well deserved.
Foxycut Salon - Seattle Brenna Tait Colo: Cannot sing the praises of this salon enough, finally got a cut that brings out my natural waves. My stylist, KK, was so sweet and knowledgeable and spent the time to teach me how to style my hair properly. It was such a unique experience that I had been searching for that I brought my mom who has always struggled to cut and style her hair (curlier than mine) and she loves it as well. It is such a welcoming and inclusive environment, and the salon supports the community. They send out a monthly newsletter (just one, not a ton of emails) that highlight events and what we can be doing to help each other and fight back. So not only a wonderful hair salon, but the kind of business I want to be supporting!
Vann Studio Salon - Seattle Kristy Scheurer: Iām getting married abroad later this year and am not sure how I want to do my hair. I booked this appointment as a test and am so glad I did. Shanna really took the time to test different things with my hair, give her opinion but also listen to mine, and convince me to cut bangs which I love. It was a great experience and I love how my hair turned out!

Sheās got naturally curly hair herself and sheās always known how to work with mine. I always leave her chair feeling like a goddess - I even asked her to do my hair for my wedding day.
Love, June Salon is so cute and thereās plenty of parking options nearby. My last appointment was a few weeks ago and I was greeted right away. Michelle made me a cold brew that I sipped while we spoke about my hair. I brought some color inspiration photos with me to show the chocolate brown I wanted for Fall. Sheās so great at translating what I want and looking at options that might work best for my skin tone and natural color. Michelleās also realistic with maintenance and considers grow-out, which I appreciate since I live about an hour away from Seattle and canāt always get to the salon as often as Iād like. She colored, toned, and cut my hair and then gave me a sleek blowout. Absolutely LOVE the color she landed on and the cut was perfect to bring some new life to my volume and curls.
The salon is cozy, but very comfortable and the rest of the staff is so friendly.
