If you are considering going here please read this first. This was easily one of the worst, overpriced nail services I have ever had. I went in with nothing on my nails and asked for overlay with gel. I didnt consider taking a picture, but I should have so you can see how badly they were done. She absolutely butchered my nails. She rushed the entire time, mind you, they werent busy, I was the only one there. There was no shape, just the overlay clumped onto my skin and nails. The gel color was TERRIBLE. All over my skin and not painted on half of the nails. She still had the audacity to charge me $60. I just went to CK Nails to have them fix the hack job this lady did. They were shocked by how bad it was and asked me if I had tried to do them myself. They were so bad the lady who fixed them didnt even charge me for removal of the old overlay. Please please please do not go here! Dont waste your money. CK Nails is 5 minutes away and they do a phenomenal job every time.
Dupont Nails & Spa - DuPont Parris Wells: They were quick, efficient, and kind. My nail tech wasted no time slaying my nails. She made sure i got what i wanted and executed perfectly. It was my first time going there so i was extremely nervous but their extensive website and welcoming shop eased my nerves. I will definitely be a returning customer.
Kaylas Nails - Spanaway Talia Parrish: I was so excited to take my mom out for a girls day, I thought Kayla’s was the perfect place to go as I’ve been a costumer in the past, and never had an issue in quality. Well, I was very wrong. Our 3 pm appointment started 30 minutes late, and my moms nails turned out messy, splotchy, and poorly filed. The technicians insensitivity about my skin picking disorder in front of others was embarrassing. For $120, the service was far below expectations. Formerly a fan of Kaylas Nails, the decline in quality is disheartening. A frustrating two hours in the salon resulted in nails I now have to redo myself. Highly disappointed with the overall service and outcome. Additionally, despite my mother expressing concerns about the quality and imperfections multiple times, the nail technician continued with the subpar job not even attempting to fix the issues my mother pointed out to her. Its disheartening that they allowed my mom to leave with nails that were far from satisfactory, showing no remorse for the low-quality service. Excusing the messiness by blaming the dip powder used is unacceptable; investing in better-quality products should be a priority for a reputable salon. The overall experience left much to be desired, and the lack of accountability from the salon is disappointing. I will not be returning.
Center Nails - DuPont Felicia D: Doing an experiment and trying out all the salons here in dupont, so far this one would be my 2nd choice, they are open Sundays which was convenient but a little bit of a rushed atmosphere...nails are good....and cleaning could be kept up better.
Friday Harbor Salon - Friday Harbor Katy Barsamian: I have been seeing Chloe for haircuts and color for over a year. During my first appointment with her, she took extra time to talk with me about what I wanted in terms of a haircut, color and styling and then shared with me her thoughts and suggestions. Never before have I experienced the level of communication, knowledge, creativity and passion that Chloe gives to her clients. When I needed something changed in my haircut, she heard what I said and translated it into immediate action. When I have struggled with styling issues (weird waves, etc.), she has taken the time to show me (actually trained me) how to style my hair. No one has ever done this for me. Chloe also has impressive knowledge of hair care products. Her online scheduling program makes it very easy to schedule and reschedule appointments without having to wait for a return call. I always look forward to seeing Chloe and love what she has done to transform my hair. She is an absolute joy!
LUSH SALON - Friday Harbor Lindsay Gustafson: I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Lush with Bettie! I had not had my hair professionally done in years and I was incredibly anxious about going in with severely damaged hair. Im talking breaking off, fried hair. It was in such a sad state, my confidence was shot. After the full treatment with Bettie and her expertise she was like my fairy godmother and I walked out with a totally new head of hair. She is absolutely amazing. She listened to my concerns, she gave me so much helpful advice and she transformed my hair. I still cant believe this is my hair! Bettie made the experience so comfortable, I truly enjoyed it and wont hesitate going back in soon. I wish I could give her 10 stars!
Blissful Beauty Hair Salon - Friday Harbor Lindsay Gustafson: Bailey is amazing!! Shes been doing my hair for a few months and Im so impressed with the outcome every single time. She really does all the extras. My hair has gotten so much healthier since I started going to Bailey.
Today I got a pedicure and it was magical. Once again Bailey did all the extras, leaving me feeling super relaxed and with cute tootsies! She had a hot cocoa waiting for me and an electric warmer for my neck and shoulders. From the beginning to the end it was pure luxury.
