Deanna M: Got a botched haircut! So many people recommend a stylist here and I would never recommend or go back. The stylist that cut my hair told me to come back when it starts to look “like a mushroom” and when I styled it myself for the first time I saw what she meant right away. I couldn’t tell how bad it was at the appointment because it wasn’t fully styled, I was just given a fluffy blow dry. Really upset over it and having to feel like I need to hide my hair. It took another stylist an hour to fix the cut as best she could until it can grow out (she texturized it and thinned it out so it can be somewhat more controlled). I also sent the photo to 3 other hairdressers who confirmed the layering was not done well and I would need to grow it out as my best option.

Van City: Jaeden is an amazing stylist. I feel super lucky that I found her at Blessings Salon. She is really good at color and at curly cuts and I always feel so happy with my hair when I leave. And everyone at the salon is always so friendly and cheerful—the front desk is super helpful and the salon owners seem to really foster a great environment for everyone. Highly recommend!

I didnt have a great experience at the last salon I went to, so I was a little nervous. The stylist I had seen was grumpy, hurried and didnt give me at all what I asked for. My experience at Studio One Twelve was such a pleasant change. I saw Erica and she is FANTASTIC! She listened to me, made some suggestions as well and I left with the haircut I had been hoping for a year ago. The salon is clean, inviting, quiet and easy to find. Ive always dealt with a lot of anxiety surrounding my hair, and have felt completely unheard during numerous visits to other salons. Shasta alleviated all of that. She asked me exactly what I wanted, explained to me some of the limitations of my hair and how we could navigate that, and then she took the time to explain exactly what she was going to do. All while being absolutely delightful, funny, and kind. I was going from a shoulder-length side shave to a pixie cut, so it was a pretty massive change. I received the best haircut Ive ever had in my life, and went from being super embarrassed about the state of my hair to loving how I looked. Shasta was so awesome! Ill definitely be coming back for haircuts.
