The operator lacks customer service skills and the facility looks like a mashup between a zombie mechanic shop and an episode of hoarders. Mostly its not been cleaned.. ever. The site is a mud bowl in the wet weather, littered with potholes making pickup or drop off of a trailer (my most frequent rental) a mud boot affair and dangerous. There is no barcode on the key drop so you cannot drop off trailers by the UHaul app without an attendant and hours are limited on weekends (when people rent UHauls). Having fully paid and fully checked in online I was held in line for 35 minutes behind customers without reservations, without the app and without a credit card. If the agent had asked "are you all checked in?" perhaps they could have hooked me up so I could leave. This is where the owner replies, takes no responsibility for the issues and blames the customer for complaining....
5/11/24 followup. The owner must have been stewing over the review. On arrival for another trailer rental he came out demanding to know if I left him a Google review and began to argue. I asked he would hook up a trailer or not, he chose not. Would I have preferred if he had called to cancel the reservation without the drama and wasted trip? Yes, but inconvenience and discourtesy appears to be business policy. I recommend Eastside Rentals nr Emla who helped out with a short notice trailer reservation. Ill rent there in the future and regret giving this business a second chance. PS. I have left hundreds of reviews perhaps 4 or 5 are in any way negative. You earned this, twice mate.
