She took the time to evaluate my hair and my wants and it ended like this!! Shes incredible and the salon staff are all really nice.
Vata Salon & Spa Aveda - Vancouver Crystal: I am new to the area and came here to get my root done. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming.
The 1st time my stylist was Lianne. I let her know I had greys on my hairline which really bother me. I let her know they can be stubborn to color. Thinking this would be a good heads up on how to deal with my hair. This salon uses AVEDA color. Which didnt work on me! The color left my greys greenish in color and the shampoo and conditioner left it dry and looking dull.
On a side note, Lianne didnt have time to finish my hair and I had to leave with my hair half wet. She only partly diffused my hair which made it frizzy.
I called and let them know what happened and how I still had greys. They apologized and asked me to go back so they could fix it. This time it was with Willma. She was very sweet and she redid my hair. She also took the time to dry and flat iron my hair. I let her know that my scalp was sensitive from the last visit and she put the heat on low and kept checking in on me.
I left the salon with dry hair and with my greys. I paid for the service and didnt get what I paid for. The place is nice and so are the employees, but clearly, the products suck for my type of hair. As I am writing this review i am sitting in a new salon getting my hair redone again for the 3 time in 3 weeks.

From the moment I walked in, the stylist was incredibly nice and welcoming, instantly putting me at ease. I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of asking if I wanted a drink — it made the experience feel even more relaxing.
Kay did an amazing job with my haircut; it turned out exactly as I’d hoped. But the best part? My daughter is absolutely obsessed with her new cut too! Kay really listened to what we both wanted and delivered beyond expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-notch service and genuine warmth.
Salon Grace - vancouver - Vancouver Holly Fritz: My daughter and I have been going here for about three years now. I have been finding myself needing to book and putting it off longer and longer between appointments. I realized after my daughters last experience its not because I dont like their services or because I am trying to grow out my hair or something. I hesitate to book because their booking experience is *super stressful* because it doesnt matter who you book with and you can say on the website that you only want that person when it comes to the actual day about 50% of the time **they switch out your stylist without any warning**. You cant call and request a specific person because they dont have a receptionist and they never answer their phones. My daughter was very careful at her last appointment to book with her stylist while she was there and said she only wanted to see her. So when her next appointment came up she was sure that was supposed to be who it was. Unfortunately her stylist was sick and they called and asked if she could be seen by someone else and she said no I want to wait for her so they booked her about a week out when her normal stylist had an opening. She showed up and lo and behold her stylist was indeed there, but they had booked her with someone else. This has happened to both of us multiple times. (Not the stylist being sick, but the swapping out stylists without letting us know.) I hate getting my haircut - it makes me extremely anxious and Ive had a lot of very bad cuts. I was so happy to find them because I felt like they really listened and I liked a couple of my haircuts quite a bit! I just cant go back to some place that I cant trust to book with someone that Im building relationship with. Thats the entire reason I booked with a specific person. I felt comfortable with that person and I want to see that person again. I dont understand how if I book an appointment at the end of my appointment with my stylist how it could possibly get switched out by the time that next appointment rolls around. We both have check the online booking to make sure its set up for the correct person right up until the day of! It causes me too much worry. Im going to move on to look for somewhere new.
Evince Salon - Vancouver Trish T: Ashley is at the top of her game at her craft! Skillful and mindful of what you want done - she takes the time to listen, and offer recommendations. She takes notes of what services youve had done so shes up to date on your next visit. Most importantly, she is flexible and has accommodated me on a few occasions when my schedule changed. Of course communication goes a long way - so I always try to reach out in advance so we can come up with something that works for us both, but its much appreciated and why I continue to go back to her. Check her out if you havent - shell beautify you in ways no one else can!
Clash Beauty Collective - Vancouver Jeremy Tuomala: We leased a space in Clash for a year and a half. It was a wonderful place to work. The owners are kind and helpful people who want you to succeed. There are so many benefits to opening a business in Clash that it’s difficult to list them all. They provide a secure building, educational classes and laundry service to name a few. Serendipity Spa Salon - Vancouver Aydrian: I have been going to this salon for almost two years and I cannot say enough good things about it. The quality, people, and vibe will keep you coming back. Parkwest Studio - Vancouver S Bliss: I almost hate to write this review because I fear it might make Lynda even busier, but she truly deserves the recognition!
Lynda is FANTASTIC! This was my first visit after moving to the area, and I was eager for a change that would suit the local climate. I shared some photos of myself with shorter hair and asked for her thoughts on whether to keep it long, cut it a little shorter, or go for a pixie. With a confident smile, she replied, "Lets cut it all off!"
From there, we looked at a few pictures and discussed my likes and dislikes. I genuinely appreciated Lyndas honesty and assurance throughout the process. Her confidence in her craft made me feel comfortable, and I knew I was in great hands.
The result? An amazing haircut that’s easy to maintain and one that my husband absolutely loves! I’m so thankful to have found Lynda, and I can’t recommend her enough. Just don’t get too busy for me!

I have been seeing her for five years (seriously, the weekend I moved to town I found her & have never looked elsewhere) & she has left me with perfect hair every single time. Revolution Hair Studio - Vancouver Jacque Renn: Christian is wonderful. It was my first time coming to see him. I needed a new change of style. I showed him several cuts and styles that I liked, and he was able to help me pick which style would be best with my face shape. Thankfully he talked me out of getting bangs again. This is the first time I have gone from very long hair to short hair and actually liked the cut, even weeks later. I will be a returning customer.
