5 /5 Jim Rabenstein: As with other urgent care facilities I expected to be there a while so I brought along my iPad to pass the time. I barely got it turned on and was called back. The nurse was very friendly and did a great job listening to me and taking my vitals. The doctor came in shortly after and asked me a few questions about my upper respiratory issues and listened to my lungs. He sent me back for a few chest X-ray’s (just down the hall). The x-ray technician was very friendly and efficient. When we were done she took me back to my room and a short time later the doctor was back with a diagnosis and ready to send prescriptions to my local pharmacy. The entire visit only took about half an hour. The entire staff, from check in to departure was very friendly and professional. Excellent service and quality care.

5 /5 Kevin Stonestreet: Dr. Aron Arnold was extremely helpful with an awesome bed side manner. He helped me and my wife dealing with phenomena at the same time in the same visit.He was patient he listened and he genuinely cared about our wellbeing. One of the best Dr’s I’ve ever been see by. I’m 58 years and have had 6 major surgeries and many encounters with Dr’s. Dr. Arnold is amazing in his profession.

Each of the 4 people that helped me, including the receptionist, were are attentive to my concerns. 5 /5 Jose F Ramos: I was totally surprised by RNS Elliotts knowledge and explanation of a hernia diagnosis plus her immediate referrals for diagnostic follow-up. Recieved a return call from her that same afternoon with details and for me to followup for possible surgery. I indeed done so and Im scheduled for hernia surgery on 3/29/25. I really appreciated the care and attention that I received. I whole heartfelt recommend this service.

5 /5 Deanna Huddle: My recent visit for a knee sprain went so smoothly. I only had to wait a few minutes in the waiting room, to be seen, and sent up for X-rays. Shortly after that, the doctor contacted me with the results and follow-up care! Everyone was friendly and helpful!

Rachelle Miner: Having moved back to the Valley a few years ago, I had to get a new primary doctor. I wanted someone younger, and motivated and also a DO if possible. I am happy to say that Dr Hafen is all of the above. My first appt he took the time (45 minutes) for me to tell him everything about me and get to know what I was looking for. He did not do the typical "well blood work is normal, sorry" routine. It was such a relief. I have been seeing him now for a few years and am so happy that I chose the right primary for me. As a small business owner in Mount Vernon, I chat with my clients with all sorts of things. I always recommend him if they are looking for a new doctor. I dont normally even do reviews, but he deserves it.

My lab draw was done with great care, skill and was almost painless, much to my surprise. The X-ray tech was wonderful too. Ryan Ostrom: I have been trying to change pharmacies for over a week with no success. The phone system does not allow calls into the office. I physically walked in 3 days in a row in an effort to communicate with them and was supposed to get a call back which never happened. The portal won’t let me log in and nobody can seem to help me with it. I have no idea how anyone could work with these people. If I could give negative stars, negative one million stars would be an accurate depiction of the service. .

I have found them very responsive and helpful and I recommend them. Dr. Kyle Walsh has been my primary care physician at the Skagit Residency Clinic and I feel very fortunate to have found him. I feel very heard and authentically cared about. I think of other Doctors in general who come in the exam room for 5 or 10 minutes and need to hurry out to their next appointment. That is not the case with Dr. Walsh. He has spent the time needed to address all my concerns even staying late on an occasion. Anyone who ends up with Dr. Walsh will be in very good hands.

Island Health - Anacortes

J Anerson: Fell on ice in my driveway at 8:00 p.m. taken in by ambulance. The care was good the exray tech and Dr B.and nurse was good. They diagnosed a pelvic fracture. My pain was unbearable. At 3:00 a.m. they said you gotta go. My wife and I explained that our steep drive was frozen over and wed parked up on the road which caused all this. We asked can I at least stay until morning when we can have our driveway plowed. The nurse said Nope. Were not a motel. So my wife got a motel and helped me get in the hallway to the room. Shes tiny compared to me. So We feel they treated us like homeless folks looking for a place for the night. We live 10 minutes from the hospital but next time we wont go back to Island Hospital. I called in today. Ive been trying to see an orthopedic surgeon since last Thursday. Bellingham said the 18th. I asked why so far out. They said Island reported on my check out I didnt have to much problem putting weight on my hip. B.S. my pain was A 10+ out of 10. The Dr .and aid knew that. My next step is getting the check out report. Im adding to my original review from my February 5th ER visit. 2 days in a motel as our driveway was frozen over, we got our driveway plowed. Called a couple orthopedic surgeons who said there 9-14 days out. No pain medicine left and no one would refill without seeing me. 3 days at home and back to the ER. Not Island. They redid my scan. Verified I had a pelvic fracture. And know pneumonia. They were appalled that I was sent home at 3:30 in the morning. 3 days in hospital physical therapy already started and any after care set up. All Island health responds with is, call our quality number. Im not done reporting there negligence.
