5 /5 Charles Snell: I was a patient for approximately 3 years dealing with an ongoing issue. Dr. Hawkins was a godsend who was able to diagnose and treat my condition when other doctors I saw couldn’t. She and the staff were very cordial, knowledgeable and understanding, and were ultimately able to resolve the issue and let me get on with my life. Nobody truly wants to have to see a specialist of this type, but I recommend this office if you are ever in need of one.

5 /5 Sue Richardson: My care from Dr. Griffin was great! He is so nice I liked him right away. He is easy to talk to and very patient taking the time needed to explain my procedure. I was really concerned about the pain after the procedure but he managed my pain really well. I am adding Dr. Griffin to my care team for my current and future needs. I highly recommend him! They billed my annual visit with tons of extra, unnecessary charges, and didnt inform me during my visit. Make sure you dont ask your doctor any questions, because each question will cost you $400, even if there were no medical services given! The medical care was honestly subpar, and the visit was full of hidden charges! Do not recommend Dr Nguyethang Pham!

One trait I really appreciate about her is her kindness towards patients (especially those who might be struggling more than others). Dr Huang has always treated me with kindness and respect and always makes me feel like I am a priority. Another thing I appreciate about her is her dedication to making her patients feel their best and working with them and not "telling" what them to do. Not all providers are "willing" to make healthcare a partnership and I feel fortunate Dr Huang is one of the ones who truly values building good patient relationships. I cant recommend her enough!

Amy S: An absolutely nightmare to work with the GI department at Virgina Mason. I saw Dr. Brandler and he hardly listens to you and touts that most GI problems are psychological in nature. He refuted that I dont have the symptoms of other diagnosis Ive gotten from medical professionals. He hardly let me speak enough to voice that I needed to be checked for a possible Hernia. His physical exam wasn’t more than 30 seconds. I also asked him to wear a mask in-office and while he said he would do this, the mask was off his nose most of the time. I was told I would get an MRI called in for me on Feb 3rd and after non-stop back and forth over something relatively simple, it’s now Feb 24th and I’ve gotten no response to my multiple follow-ups via my chart and phone. The front desk is unhelpful at best. The two times I called them a team lead or nurse was unavailable and I didn’t get any call-backs. I was told Dr. Brandlers supervisor was contacted and I still wasnt promised a call-back regarding the issues. I’m not sure how the GI department is even in business at this point, with how poorly things are handled and mis-managed.

Alyssa McBroom: We welcomed our beautiful daughter back in June of 2024 where we met with unexpected complications. She was placed in the Nicu for 7 days. Not only did the Nicu team go above and beyond for my daughter but they were beyond helpful as a first time mom going through birth trauma and gave tips and stories and by the end of the stay I truly felt prepared to handle anything. Special shout out to the two Jamie’s who truly deserve their angel wings. My daughter is now ( still ) 99th percentile and thriving :-)

David Lee: Great hospital. Friendly staff, good facilities, and decent dining. There a Starbucks inside which is convenient. Its difficult to find d things though, like a lot of hospitals. I was trying to tell someone how to find our room and it was not easy. We were in the pediatric area and it was nice. The room was a bit cramped but otherwise nice. Had usual things you find, in addition had Xbox One, which was kinda cool for our son to pass time while healing up. Nurses were really nice and attentive and doctors as well.

Myriam Alladen: If I could give no stars then I would. I was referred to Dr Showell years ago when my mom was sick in the hospital and going through a lot. Dr Showell new nothing about that, and regardless she was rude and accusatory about my situation due to a car accident. She was no help and I still remember her looking at me up and down like she was being judgmental. Like I was beneath her and not good enough to be in her presence. This was about 10 years ago and I still have a bad taste in my mouth and do not hesitate to tell anyone! Worst attitude ever! I missed out on filling out the survey for her because I was too distraught sine my mom passed away. Then stumbled on other bad reviews about her! Good to know I am not the only one that thinks shes an awful doctor!!!

Neahni: Im not a patient at Polyclinic or with Dr. Townsend, but I am a caregiver who takes a client there. Each experience has been fantastic. The staff is so friendly, and treats you with the utmost respect. The person I take there is non verbal, and uses an alphabetical board to communicate. They are always happy to hear what he has to say, and they listen. Last week, we were not able to bring his board, so Katie (I believe her name is) thought outside the box , printed out a paper with the alphabet on it, and we used that to communicate. It was so thoughtful and creative. The staff always finds a way to help. Dr. Townsend is a great listener, and gets to the bottom of things. Hes a problem solver and knows his stuff. I highly recommend Polyclinic and Dr. Townsend for anything from a check up to serious matters. You can have faith that you will be treated with the best care.
