Otolaryngology at Virginia Mason - Seattle Dave Johnson: 1st appointment 1045 arrive 25 minutes early and bring paperwork downloaded to expedite process transfer from Swedish. Front staff really good. Nurse had attitude. Records not processed at VM was told previously it was all shared digitally will not need to fill out anything, so they have my entire patient history.
Not a true statement, so back to filling out paperwork. Finally taken back to room 40 minutes later. At 1130 told Were running late currently. Finally at noon I asked and told the Dr. is in a meeting and will be longer. I got up and walked out. Expect us to be punctual but they ate not. Sure did not have this issue at swedish think I will be staying there. 5+ hours of wasted time.
John A. Moen, M.D. - Seattle Erika Hansen: Dr. Moen has been my primary care physician since 2007, and hes been fantastic. He always listens to my concerns, is quick to respond (be it to a question, an appt request, or a medication refill. When I need to make an appt, Im usually in within days, a week at the latest.
Im a bit of a complicated patient and am hospitalized fairly regularly (oddly enough, his daughter has been my inpatient physician and is similarly wonderful). Because of this, I have missed a number of appointments. He has always been understanding and patient with me.
Many primary care physicians are not knowledgeable with some of the more rare chronic conditions, but Dr. Moen is as knowledgeable as my specialists.
I have been urged in the past to switch to a university of Washington PCP given that my myriad specialists work at UW, but I prefer to remain with Dr. Moen.
