Unfortunately the office staff and nurses are unprofessional. I have to call repeatedly to ask for simple things like a prior-authorization to refill a standing prescription. I have been told 4 times in 5 business days that someone would call me back and no one ever does. Almost every time I call back myself (a business day later) there is no progress on my request, nor even a record that I called, and we start the request process all over again.
Beyond frustrated; I am actively looking for a new Primary Care Provider now.
Garfield County Hospital District - Pomeroy Marcus Pederson: The nursing staff at Garfield County Hospital is skilled and compassionate. They took good care of Dad in his last days. They were also extremely kind to the rest of the family, for which we are very grateful. ~Joanne Pederson
Columbia Basin Hospital - Ephrata Junior Castellon: I came in the other day at 3 and the doctor seemed very rude almost as if he didn’t want to be there. His tone sounded very rude from the way he talked.
Samaritan Hospital - Moses Lake AU: Ladies were polite when I would talk with scheduling but their radiology department seems like a mess. I had a referral sent over for a diagnostic mammogram. I had to call them after not hearing from them for days and was told they received incorrect paperwork. My doctor had immediately sent corrected paperwork but they had never received it or had discarded it thinking it was a duplicate. I had to go back and forth throughout the week only to be told that they were “revamping” their schedule and didn’t know their schedule. After being told to check back the following week, I was given the same runaround. It was ridiculous to have to keep following up just to try and get an appointment scheduled. I finally switched hospitals when they told me they wouldn’t know what their schedule looked like for several weeks.
Samaritan Healthcare - Moses Lake Cynthia Squires: Hard to get an appointment. Then when I made effort to go in for the Medicare wellness check my doctor came in for 30 seconds, at which time I reminded her that I was past due for my annual blood work (due to bariatric surgery and prior issues with malnutrition) she said no problem she would order it and I could stop by the lab anytime. I went to the lab and they did take blood for the Hepatitis check that medicare recommends but not for my normal blood work. There mistake but now they insist I come in for another visit just to get the blood work ordered. Really frustrating and I think I need to go to Confluence where they seem to be much more concerned with patient satisfaction.
Samaritan Family Medicine - Moses Lake Mike: Slowest defensive front desk. When they get their feelings offended, they’ll give you a hard time. I needed a paperwork filled out from the doctor and needed before Christmas and they went home, enjoyed Christmas and I still didn’t get my paperwork. Here I am at it again waiting cus the’re feeling have been hurt. Nobody cares about you feelings. Just get my paperwork. Negative 5 stars
