She didn’t know what she was doing gel all over my hand her hands. In the background they are talking in their language. Bottom line i paid $75 for a terrible gelX experience.

Erin Y I tried 8th day for the first time today. I booked with Quinn. I brought a picture in that was on their website and she did an amazing job. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Quinn was very detail oriented and super kind. I’m so happy I have a new salon to go to!

Connie Lee When I say I want to relax, this is the place to go! Such a calm environment with a wonderful staff. I could not be happier with my nails each time I go. I had two different nail technicians and the quality and attention to detail is *chefs kiss*.

Nail tech I had was mediocre at best. Asked 3x for oval shaped nails, she still shaped them square. Shellac doesn’t even reach the edges or near my cuticles and when I asked to fix it, she just shook her head in acknowledgment but didn’t fix it, so essentially I’ll need a fill in 2-weeks or less vs normally getting by every 3-weeks. I opted for a matte top coat, had to have her fix it on a couple fingers where the edges were still shiny, not matte. Her quality of work/attention to detail is seriously lacking. Not sure if her eyesight was poor or didn’t quite understand, English isn’t her native language. Ombré of 2-different colors wasn’t an option.
Definitely didn’t feel welcomed by her, but the receptionist Crystal was outstanding…the hospitality stopped there. The customer next to me was engaging and sweet, they could’ve taken some tips from her. As a new client, you’d think the staff would want to get to know you, especially since I was the only customer in the salon at 3pm, on a Wednesday afternoon, for an hour…loss opportunity of a potential new regular clientele. Total was $72+$10 tip for a gel fill and 6-finger unique design, forget hybrid gel. Nail art was not her strength, nor did anyone else offer to help/do it for her or her asking for help. By the time she was on the second finger design, I gave up and just settled to get out of there. I have an appt with my daughter for a spa pedi on Monday, 6/3, reconsidering and going elsewhere. Was in search of a new nail tech that can do unique designs, quality work and I’m willing to pay for it ($140+$30 tip for a fill regularly, but was hoping for something more conveniently located near home, guess I’m headed back to downtown Bellevue) when the work is well done and in an establishment that was welcoming.
