Alaina Ankrom I have been to Nail salons all over the country and this place is by far my favorite! 2nd time going here. First-Gen family owned business, these people love what they do and are damn good at it.
For about $50 I got a hot stone, 10-15 minute leg/foot massage, foot wax, salt scrub and lotion/moisturizer pedicure. This also included the nail color, foot maintenance (dead skin) nail maintenance and everything. They have massage chairs that work and the folks are incredibly friendly. Exceptional service, Clean and friendly business that plays classical music and covered in beautiful plants!
I will be back :)

E M Wonderful nail service! Cahn did my nails, manicure with removal and shellac. Friendly, Clean, calm with classical music playing. Great price and a relaxing with quick shoulder massage and even paraffin wax. Worth driving up here from Downtown. Street parking available. They have a Punch card and even student discounts.

Kat Ingalls I decided to come here after reading the great reviews for dip manicures. First, I do want to say that the couple who run the place are very nice - the husband is the one who did my manicure, and was a lovely person. This place is also super clean, and I appreciated seeing that they don’t reuse tools.
Now for the downsides: before putting on the dip, my nails were cut and shaped, but absolutely nothing was done to my cuticles. After communicating that I was primarily coming in for the “hygiene” aspect of the manicure, and wanted my cuticles cleaned up, there was a cursory trimming done. No cuticle remover, dead skin wasn’t removed, and cuticles weren’t pushed back at all.
It’s been over a year since I’ve had my nails done, and about 3 since I’ve had a dip manicure - so I thought maybe I just forgot the “order” things are done in. I’ve never *not* had the basic cleaning experience included in a manicure (cleaning under nails, exfoliating dead skin around nail bed, pushing back cuticles).
At this point - since I was directly communicating a desire for cuticle care in particular - I would expect to be told this was an additional service if that was the case. I wasn’t told that, but again, I’m assuming the best. The man proceed to do my dip color, which turned out lovely…except for the gaps around the color and my nailbed. (First photo, taken *during* appointment)
When heading to the register, I did communicate a second time that I was expecting to have a *manicure* - not just color. I was told for the first time ever that “that’s a separate service.” That was never communicated. Even after I expressed my expectations *during* the appointment, this “additional service” was never suggested or offered. I left feeling slightly disappointed, but I didn’t want to leave a bad review for a small business.
But now even the service I *did* pay for (“just the dip”) is not holding up well. I’m used to dip manicures lasting *at least* two weeks. This one lasted only 7 days before the paint started detaching. (Second photo)
I wish this business well, but for a $45 “dip manicure,” I expected the manicure portion to be included, and the color to last more than a week.
