Quinn Marchal They took me last minute for a walk-in pedicure and they were amazing! The staff were so sweet and patient with everyone. They offered all the clients some rice crackers and were very attentive. Its a nice, friendly atmosphere. The pedicure process felt so good and relaxing, too! 10/10 recommend them.

Marissa Carr They do an amazing job but wow they are SO rude and give you a ton of attitude. Unfortunately not a relaxing experience, I felt uptight the whole appointment because of how bad the technician’s energy was. 5/5 nails but 1/5 service. I’m shook.

Mary Perron They scheduled me for 1230 and then said it was 1200. I arrived after they called me to let me know I was late. I had bare nails for a gel pedicure which was done on time for their next appointment. It only lasted 8 days and it was chipped. They refused me service to repair it. They are disorganized and arbitrarily allow appointments 4 weeks out for some and within the next week for others. My friend was denied any further service because she had a weaker arm on one side and they would not accommodate her. Save your money. Go somewhere else. They are too stressed. Their prices have doubled since COVID as well. They should not mistreat their loyal customers of 10 plus years. I now question the hygienic practices of the place. The floors are dirty and the basins do not appear to be cleaned out with fresh bleach which is the best disinfectant.

B B Amy did my pedicure and gel removal (toes), and Im only sorry I waited so long to try this place out. She did a great job: nails look super nice and she even painlessly dug out my ingrown toenails. Price was reasonable, everything was clean. I even liked their massage chairs, which usually feel odd and uncomfortable to me. My appointment was a month ago and my nails still look great!

joanie schwartz In my experience “Nails by Kenna” is a 5 star nail salon! She is beyond thorough and I’m really thankful to have found her. Her setting is private and definitely adds to the feeling of individual attention. I highly recommend Kenna hands down!!! Regarding the negative post....Kenna is clean and thorough and I do not believe that post!

APRYL CUVELIER Kenna has been doing my nails for many years! My nails are always so beautiful when she does them!!! She has always been so clean and tidy! I appreciate that I don’t have to worry about getting any sort of fungus. Kenna is always such a joy! I love her and quaint little studio! My time there is relaxing and filled with great uplifting conversations!

joyce suter Kenna is a MASTER with my Manicures and pedicures. Her technique is gentle, with a skilled and absolutely beautiful accent to my fingers and toes! I highly recommend her! Shes kind and personable.

Catherine Pitts Kenna does nails out of her home salon while her kids are in school. My nails are always amazing and Kenna is personable and sweet. She does my acrylic nails and I get the gel polish thats dry when I leave and long lasting. Prices are reasonable, too. She also does pedicures. Check her out for high quality nails in a one-on-one setting.

Alexandra Moorhead Came as a walk in from out of town. Everything was very clean and well done. I could definitely see being a regular if I lived here. I had a manicure and full pedicure with gel.

Alysse Mills The women are very nice here, they are a pleasure to talk with. This was my first time here. My pedicure was not terrible but I asked to have a sharp square nails and I only wanted a little bit of my length on my nails cut off. None of my toes are a sharp square like I had when I came in and all my length was removed on all my toes except my big toes. The nail polish is also very thick/layered on my toes which makes them look chunky. I would have paid $30 for this pedicure but was charged $55 for white gel.

Erin Mullen I came into town for a wedding and due to crazy airline delays got in the day before then event and broke my nail off during travel. The owners were so nice to fit me in their morning schedule. Made sure I had everything I needed, did a great job on my nails and even gave recommendations for breakfast and site seeing before the evening event.

Robyn Javidan Nae was excellent! I was visiting from out of town and have been getting my nails done on a regular basis for many years and have experience with many nail techs and Nae was exceptional. If I lived in Anacortes I would definitely be a regular. She took her time, had amazing attention to detail, and was so pleasant to be around. Thank you Nae!

Michele Michele Needed a massage deep tissue. I showed up to my appointment and mind you my child is well behaved. He was going to sit and play on his tablet as he had done for all of the appointments during the day this far quietly. Due to me not making the appointment in house nor me taking the time to read their ENTIRE website. I was told that my child who was behaved and quiet could not sit and wait quietly as I have done in the past with massages at other facilities and I was told that they were canceling my appointment and rather than rescheduling me I was also billed for them canceling my appointment with me there. A thousand other work arounds and when there were possibilities as Ive experienced them before at other facilities. This facility was not ok with a well behaved child. Due to the placement of the child rules and it not being labeled as something that is visible when it is clearly costly for the customer I am having my lawyer review it. I simply asked for the appointment to be canceled and rescheduled due to lack of communication on both ends. As this was not part of their cancelation policy either.

Ayaka Mawary Off from 3 kids’ mommy life and it was far beyond of my expectations! I had the best 60min CBD oil massage ever thanks to Erica. The place is on the 2nd floor of the beautiful building. I will definitely come back in sometime!

Kellie did amazing on my facial and provided great detail on products and service. Facility was very clean and accommodating as well. Thank you for a much needed relaxation for this Texas nurse!

Kristina Fields I adore my friends at Nail Therapy. Dianna is just a lovely lady and her nails are strong and last. Her last two creations are my fave! Meaghan is also a doll and does my pedicures and steps in to help fix or do a design or two! It’s a lovely and fun little shop that cares about their clients. I’ve been going here since they opened and Dianna and Meghan are gems!

Yaoli Jiang Im not sure if my nail tech was having a bad day, but she was quite rude during the entire process. From the beginning, I barely had any time to look at the colors, and she was rushing me. I was trying to explain that my nails were very damaged from before and that some of them are so thin that they hurt, so I didnt want them to be drilled too deeply, and she seemed annoyed. That being said, I had a very simple manicure, just one plain color. It ended up being streaky on some of my nails. When I brought this up (I said it very gently), she just said, "Thats how the color is" in an annoyed tone. That really wasnt true because not all of my nails were streaky, just a couple... and if its really the fault of the polish quality, she should have told me or warned me before we started. I didnt want to make it a big deal, so I just replied, "Oh, okay," paid and left. I tried to be polite and said bye, but she had already left. Overall, it didnt feel like a good experience... at all. The manicure was okay, but for $50+ dollars, the service wasnt really anything phenomenal. Im okay with the manicure. But I left feeling quite awful, unfortunately. Kinda bummed out.

Joi Lee My Mom and I tried pedicure here. The gals never talked to us, except for when we asked them what their names were. I rate them a c- due to they just do basics. Also, we had no idea of the prices, nothing was posted or us given a menu of services. It was quick and hurried us out. We will be trying out other nail salons in Anacortes!

J Peggy (SC senorita) I had the great fortune of enjoying an outstanding manicure and pedicure from Julie, American nails owner. Her spa is well appointed, clean, comfortable and accommodating. The pedicure massage chair was fabulous - offering a deep tissue massage while receiving a wonderful pedicure. Julies manicure resolved my nail issues. I left feeling renewed and rejuvenated and sporting a beautiful fresh nail color. I highly recommend calling ahead to book an appointment. American Nails is a busy spa with exceptional quality.

Alyssa Klaister I’ve gotten my nails done here a handful of times and each time I am sorely disappointed. Not only do my nails always look sloppy after (bumpy, inadequately filed and painted nails that look two weeks grown out when she finishes and bleeding cuticles), but she overcharges me every time and argues when I politely question it and point at the price chart. I’m usually waiting 20-40 minutes too, even with an appointment. Don’t waste your time or money here.

kyli Peters I normally don’t leave bad reviews for nail salons. I just take it for what it is. Unfortunately though, I have never had my cuticles absolutely burned off so badly before. I’ve been getting acrylics for over 10 years. And I’ve never had my cuticles be filed off so badly that they felt like they were on fire before. I asked for white powder acrylic full set with orange accent ring finger. And this is what I got. I stopped her when she started doing regular acrylic powder and showed her a picture in case she misunderstood me, she kept going and nodded her head. She gave me white polish and I guess forgot I wanted the orange accent nail. Awful shape. There was hair, and dust from filing still on my nail under the polish. This set cost me $62 tip included. Will not be coming back.

Jo McMinn I liked Lina’s service at first. She seemed knowledgeable and her shop is very clean and neat. She does only basic nail care. Nothing fancy. That was sufficient for me. But she has a very abrasive personality and on my last visit her demeanor was completely unacceptable. She admonished me as though I were a child for being 10 minutes early! It was very disrespectful. Also my “manicure” was nothing more than a bit of filing and applying polish. That was disappointing and truly a waste of money. I won’t be back.

Loree Good Somedays you just want to walk out of your nail place and never come back, it was the case for me about a year ago with Fidalgo Nails. However the quality and beauty that Fidalgo/Anacortes nails provides me has proven to be the best in quality I have found. I hike, work in my yard, wash dishes by hand, Kayak, river raft, cut wood, I load stuff off and on boats all the time and I have not lost a nail nor has the appearance of my nails diminished. I may have to wait longer than I like, I enjoy the company of the other ladies who come into the shop. Breathe and enjoy my time. All around its a great place. Its interesting we all want great nails, but some of us wait for the last minute and expect the nails ladies to be waiting for us to walk in the door, and that isnt the case at Fidalgo Nails because they are good at what they do they have lots of ladies and gentlemen who enjoy the service they receive and it just gets busy. So take a book or wait to catch up on social media before you get to the nail place you might have a wait. I wont be going any other place, not to say others arent good because I have found another I do like but Fidalgo Nails is my favorite. The pictures posted are of my toes & nails after 1.5 weeks - kayaking and camping out doors and they still looked great.

Kyla C I called at 12:45pm and came in for a shellac mani/pedi at last minute and they had alot of extra staff and openings. The pedicure turned out great, except the French tip looks like my 8 year old daughter did it, otherwise it was a great pedicure. My manicure on the other hand... I let them know I had shellac on my fingers and I was in a time crunch and they told me they had time, apparently they had forgotten about their 6 other appointments they had that hour, before they told me they had enough time to do my nails. I sat in the pedicure chair waiting to start my manicure for about 20 minutes before I had to tell them I need to soak off my shellac because I needed to be at a wedding very soon. They got kinda snippy with me and I felt like like they were talking bad about me in their native tongue, and that, i thought was very unprofessional. I finally got to start my manicure and they power drilled off the top coat all over my lap and my wallet, did not put any sort of towel down or anything, then the nail tech who was cleaning my cuticles, had nails so long and pointy every time she turned my fingers to get a good angle, I got stabbed by her nails and caused me to bleed. I finally said I need to hurry , because at this time it was 30 minutes until the wedding.. (1:55!!!!) So its already taken over an hour to do a pedicure and start to clean my cuticles. I got the French tip on my nails, but again, it looks like my 8 year old did it! I did not receive any type of hand massage or scrub or anything except only my nails got polished. I am very unhappy with how my nails turned out. I will never be going back there, and thats too bad because as friendly as they were, very low expertise on their field of training. By the way, i was out of there and done with my mani/pedi at 2:25 and just barely missed the wedding by about 3 minutes. (These pictures are literally 4 days after I got them done)

Jeanne McDermott Im an Anacortes resident who switched from Washington Nails, then 2Q until Alex and Ann left. Since then, staff at Fidalgo Nails have always greeted me immediately and all my pedicures have been 100% in the three years I have been going to them. I go to get my calluses smoothed down and I never fail to return home with baby soft feet. Like anywhere, treat the staff the way you want to be treated!! I always recommend them to the newbies in town.

Suzan Bartlett Had my nails done late Saturday. Polish never set correctly and was a mess. Went back in Monday morning to try to repair it. Offered to do it myself but no one spoke English well enough to under what I was trying to do. Zero customer service . I waited a few minutes and left . Will not return .
