1 /5 Michelle Hamilton: I went in for a shellac mani/pedi on 11/10/23. The pedi was good, my toes look great. The negative review is for the manicure I received. The individual attempted to use the electric file to file the top of my nails down. I declined this, as it would ruin my nails. She put it away and while I sat back and relaxed, she chose to use a rough file to file the top (not tips) of my nails, anyway. Ruining them. They now look torn up and unhealthy. She barely addressed my cuticles, slathered some lotion on and then went to work on someones feet. She came back 10 minutes later, without washing her hands. I left without the massage I requested. She did give me a $7 discount when I pointed this out. 4 days later and all the nails were peeling, so I removed them.
I used to really like this facility and am so disappointed at the decline I have witnessed. Sadly, I will be looking for a new salon. Also, I recognize that my review does not speak to all techs, as there are some good ones. However, when there are those whose work is this poor, one has to wonder why they are still allowed to touch the hands and feet of their clientele.
