List Best 7 Nail Salons in Marysville, WA (Part 2)

Katelyn Leary I went in for a fill and showed a picture of the French tip nails I wanted to get at the beginning of my appointment. (pictures shown, last pic is inspo pic and first is what I got) I had to correct the lady doing my nails in the middle of the appointment and tell her again what I wanted with the shape. She clipped my cuticle, it started bleeding and she waited at least a minute to say “sorry”. The shaping looked like I could have done it myself, you can see and feel the lumps from my last set and the French tip polish is uneven on every nail. She also left a chip in my thumb nail and polish was all over my fingers that she could’ve cleaned up. The Additionally, she made me pay $55 for only a fill and it says on their board that a full set would be $55 (I should have just gotten a full set!!!) I was very dissatisfied with this experience and I will not be returning.

Kiersten Grays I’ve been getting my nails done for over 10 years, so it takes a lot for me to be truly taken aback—but yesterday was shocking. I debated leaving a review because I don’t love bashing businesses, and maybe this was just an off day. However, after reading the recent reviews, it’s clear this is a recurring issue, and I hope management can take this as a learning opportunity. First, there were absolutely no pleasantries from the moment I walked in to my appointment. That’s fine; there was a game on, and I was okay with some quiet time while getting pampered. The nail tech handed me only one gel color ring, which wasn’t ideal, but I found a color I liked, so no big deal. Then she started drilling my bare nails and cut three of my fingers while aggressively repositioning my hands, telling me to relax them. I’ve been getting my nails done for over a decade, and no one has commented on how relaxed my hands are since I was a teenager. When she applied the acrylic and began filing, one of my nails turned out noticeably crooked. I politely asked her to fix it, and she told me my finger was crooked. I used the straight nail file as a guide to show her that the rest of the nails were fine and only that one was off-center. She didn’t say anything but started fixing it. I appreciated that she corrected it, but the vibe was clearly tense afterward. She filed and dusted my nails but didn’t have me wash my hands before applying the polish. She skipped the base coat and painted over the dusty nails. By this point, I already suspected I might be overcharged, but I was still planning to leave at least a small tip because she fixed the crooked nail. However, at the end of the service, after a very aggressive hand massage, she overcharged me, claiming my nails were “long” and the “round shape” was an additional fee. My nails clearly dont qualify as "long". At that point, I decided not to tip and let her know I wouldn’t be returning. The nails themselves were subpar at best, the service was painful and unpleasant, and I don’t see how this level of quality will retain customers in a city with so many nail salons to choose from. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the client experience for others.

Kara Lee Got dip powder done on a Wednesday & my nail already chipped 2 days later on a Friday. Went back to the salon to fix it Tuesday and another nail chipped. Salon tech was blaming me saying I should do acrylic and that dip isn’t strong enough. lol… I have been doing dip for over 6 years consistently every 3-4 weeks & never have this issue. Then today another finger completely chips in half. Unbelievable. Waste of money and I will not go back to this salon. Seems to be low quality products used and/or inexperienced techs.

Natalie Douglas Green Jasmine nail salon deserves 5 stars. The salon is clean, and the techs are smiling and gracious. I had the basic pedicure. The end result with polish was perfection. Im sorry I forgot to ask for the nail techs name. She is definitely worth asking for again. And ladies, you have your husbands permission to go ahead and make that appointment bc he can wait for you at Bostons or Wild Wings with sports TV. My only complaint is that I had some women in the chair next to me talking on her phone the entire time. Please dont do this. It ruined the experience for everyone there.

Siobhan Ecker This salon deserves 5 stars. I brought in a picture and the technician duplicated the colors and design perfectly. She was patient and made sure I liked the first nail before completing all 10. The price was very reasonable for the quality! I will be a repeat customer.

Jennifer Wright Ly (pronounced Lee) did a wonderful job with my dip manicure! She was so sweet and friendly, and we joked around during my manicure. Not busy on a Thursday afternoon. Dip nails with design was $55 which is typical. I will be back!

Jes N Kind and friendly staff, great service! Went in for a shellac pedicure and powder ombre full set - Vivian & Ven did a fabulous job.

Elise Rose VIVIAN IS WONDERFUL!! She is not only efficient but does amazing work so kind, I went to another lady and she didnt give me anything I wanted, Vivian on the other hand nailed this literally she saw the photo of what I wanted and executed wonderfully! 12/10 recommended this salon they are all so sweet. I would say a little over priced but well worth the experience and the joy I felt after getting what I wanted!

Brianna I’m still in the parking lot about to leave but wanted to make sure I left a review before leaving. I called 15 mins before they closed and she was able to get me and get me done by 7:30pm and they look amazing. It’s my first time coming here and I have an appointment to get my toes done and my daughter’s nails done tomorrow. She was very gentle and as fast as it was I felt like she took her time to detail and even being the last appointment I didn’t feel rushed at all and I really love them and they look very good. Vivian is very good at what she does and I highly recommend this place..

Lisa Elkington Amazing... Vivian and Kim are our go 2 for both nails and pedicures. They are always willing to try any design I find online and it turns out Amazing. I personally only need Fills every 3 weeks due to the Amazing work they do. I have yet to break a nail due to quality as I am pretty rough on my nails. If you are looking for a shop to call home, HN Spa & Nails is a great choice..Lisa

Michelle Hamilton I went in for a shellac mani/pedi on 11/10/23. The pedi was good, my toes look great. The negative review is for the manicure I received. The individual attempted to use the electric file to file the top of my nails down. I declined this, as it would ruin my nails. She put it away and while I sat back and relaxed, she chose to use a rough file to file the top (not tips) of my nails, anyway. Ruining them. They now look torn up and unhealthy. She barely addressed my cuticles, slathered some lotion on and then went to work on someones feet. She came back 10 minutes later, without washing her hands. I left without the massage I requested. She did give me a $7 discount when I pointed this out. 4 days later and all the nails were peeling, so I removed them. I used to really like this facility and am so disappointed at the decline I have witnessed. Sadly, I will be looking for a new salon. Also, I recognize that my review does not speak to all techs, as there are some good ones. However, when there are those whose work is this poor, one has to wonder why they are still allowed to touch the hands and feet of their clientele.

Kim M I LOVE this place! They were quick to Greet and make me feel comfortable. I got a full set, the lady did nails better than the photo I showed her. I got a coffin shape with shellac. She was so fun and great to talk to. I Also got a pedicure and omg it was amazing! She did my pedicure and also added this exfoliating leg/foot scrub. And than this nice stone massage it felt so good! After that she gave me a nice warm Wax on my feet. It was all perfect fast and reasonable priced! I love this place so much! Great customer service and a great experience. I’ll be back in two weeks.

Stacie Armstrong I have nothing bad to say i had a good experience except the lady that did my nails did not push my cuticles back and fill the nail completely. She put on a full set of nails, after 24 hours it looks like I already need to have a fill.

Courtney Dewey Kim was amazing! She actually uses pressure when she massages your feet! Hot stones, foot mask, an amazing pressurized air back massager chair too! Hands down the best pedicure I have ever had! My wife said the same thing! And her prices are way better than everywhere else for what you get! She went above and beyond for our tired feet and we are so grateful for the comfortable atmosphere!

Hedy Schlaht Johnny be good and Kim are funny and helpful. They extend great customer service as well as an excellent selection of colors. They are both very skilled and experienced nail technicians. They did a great job with a pedicure including an excellent hot stone massage.Our pedicure were excellent.

DeAna-Alexandreia Perez Worst full set I’ve ever got! The quality and technique were horrible, plus she was extremely rude. I asked for a full set, almond shaped, in their Mulberry color. She nicked my cuticles four different times and left the acrylic bumpy and uneven. I asked her to fix it and she said the gel would cover it…. It didn’t. I’ve never had an actual painful experience getting a full set. Then she said she can fix it and charge me for another full set. Girl bye. Never again. The girl that did my pedicure was amazing though.

Olesya Tsymbalyuk Zero starts… their recent change of staff isn’t the same like it was before. Will not be returning to this salon ever. They used to have good staff now its lots of people with 25+ years experience owner said. Avoid-this place if possible! I was surprised other lady came to fix my daughter nails and still couldn’t fix them right. I paid for dip and manicure $120! After owner knew he couldn’t make it right. My daughter was crying after manicure job. We ended up going somewhere else to remove and redo the nails.

Nicholas Butcher I’m not sure what you call this style but for me to get a GC for my wife and she gets something like this that she is definitely not happy about is absurd!! Absolutely terrible!! My 11 yr old daughter would’ve done a better job shaping her nails and painting them!! We gave them one more shot and now we will not be going back and I hope no one else does either! They need new employees ASAP!!

Bailey Boehme Took my friend and I here to get our nails done before we both left town and didn’t see each other again for a while. We both showed photos of what we wanted and we got nothing like the photos. I went to cosmetology school, so I know how nails should be cleaned up. My nails were sloppy, and my nail tech sliced 2 fingers and made my thumb bleed really bad. (I got blood on a towel) I even told her ow, and she still kept going. Also the prices are nothing like they say it’ll be, whatever the say it’ll cost, add another 20$.

Lilynor P. This is my 1st time here came here cuz its my b-day my daughter treat me. The first thing I notice is that the place is clean also its really warm its 75° outside. But theres no AC I ask the lady is it warm here or is it just me, I was hot. She said yes we turned off the AC I ask why she said cuz were almost close. I wish they have a fan to turn on for the customers. Their there trying to save electricity when their still customers there. Its still an hour and theres 3 of us customers there. She started talk to another lady in their language. Then I was undecided which color on my mani and pedi so she keep asking me. I was talking to my daughter on text. Asking whats the in color now. And shes talking again in her language. I know that theyre talking about me. That is so rude. I just look at the customer next to me. I almost ask her how does she feel about this people taking in front of you in their language. Then she looks at me what color? I told her which one. Then she looks at the lady next to her and talks their native tongue for a while. She doesnt have her name tag so I dont know her name. The other lady who did my mani is nice her name is Tina. I still gave a good tip to both of them. Thats why I give them this review.

Andrea Worst pedicure of my life. I wanted to treat myself so I got the $55 pedicure package. I was in and out in a half hour. No massage of my feet or legs. She didnt even rub in the special lotion thats included in the package, just squirted it on my legs and laid a cold towel (that was supposed to be a warm towel) on top of it. No foot massage whatsoever. The hot stone massage was not that at all. She put lotion on the hot stones and rubbed them once up and down on my legs and once over on the bottoms of my feet. The place was completely empty with 4 gals working so its not like they were hard on time. I used to go to this place years ago when Tom and Sue owned it and never had any problems.

Sarah M We reserved 3 pedicures over 24 hours before. The ladies came from the other business to help us. They werent polite and my friend, whos birthday we were celebrating got a cheap quick 10 minute treatment. The lady did two pedicures and didnt speak to either of my friends. Toward the end of our service another lady walked in and was taking with them laughing and going on. My friends both felt like they were being talked about. When checking out, the lady tried to charge my friend for gel polish and didnt believe me when I said no, she got regular. The tech was sweeping up clipped finger nails, flinging them all over while we were sitting and waiting for the polish to dry. Besides having to also enter through the back of the building, it felt dirty and Un kept. We will not be back and I Will not recommend. My last experience here was good but this was crap.

Brook Wolfe Update. Ive been coming here for 3 years now. Everytime I get my nails done by Sandy, Im like theres no way anything could top this. Well I go back and what do you know, she tops the last. This is the best salon Ive been in while being in WA. They are sweet, pay attention to the clients and the nails are always amazing.

Denise Costilla I have been looking for a salon that is close to home. After some research I landed here. Lynn was super sweet and showed me each step of the process to get my approval before she went on. I felt like she was IN the moment with my nails and not racing to try and get to another customer. I have beautiful nails now and look forward to my fill in a few weeks.

Keri Long Do NOT let Maya near your toes! They will end up short, misshapen and you will leave in near tears. I will not return for fear of her being my technician. Please stop cutting nails with cuticle cutters! Note: Pictures taken after I got home and tried my best to clean them up and separate my nails from my skin

Chelsea Baker Came in for a simple gel manicure. She told me to come back in 15 mins, and I still had to sit and wait for her to finish a pedicure. She did not wash her hands before doing my nails. The paint looked horrible and was uneven. I told her I didn’t like my nails and she offered to fix them, I told her I had already been there a hour and half and did not have time and she was VERY rude. 1/10 do not recommend.

Brittaney Thomas They charge 30 for kids for pedi and manicure then my daughter polish started coming off soon as I got home. They charge me 40 for mines and they look nothing like the picture I showed and the GEL polish already coming off. I’m so mad I Wasted $70 then one of the workers was coughing with her mask off.
