5 /5 Bret Clauson: Just had a hand surgery preformed by Dr Alan Thomas. The whole experience starting with the check in to the checkout was done in such a way that kept my anxiety levels in check. Dr Thomas has a very positive and uplifting personality and his staff also emulate the same energy. I would highly recommend Lakewood Surgery Center!

Amber Dahle: My daughter asked me to set up an appointment for her to get restarted in mental health services. When I called to set up her initial appointment I was told by the woman who answered the phone that I am not able to set up her initial appointments because she is over the age of 13 and they have to talk to her and get consent! As someone that works in the mental health field this is not accurate. As her parent I am able to set her appointments. However for any further information she would have to sign a release of information. She is 15! She is not able to drive herself to appointments, pay for them, or set them up herself considering her dad or myself would have to set them around our work schedules. I have been setting her appointments up for years now and have never ran into this issue and when I looked at the WAC and the laws there was nothing that states she has to consent to an appointment being set up. How are parents supposed to help their kids get the help they need when there are these types of barriers in place!

He also checked in with me and made sure I was comfortable as well. His empathy was such a gift. Give this man a raise!! It’s reassuring to know my husband had an excellent surgeon and also received top notch nursing care thanks to David. Truly a 10/10 human being.

Faith c: Professional, courteous; above and beyond care. All staff took the time to listen to each of my concerns. The quality of care is superior to any other doctor Ive seen in the last 10years. I have a lot of health conditions: this is the first doctor that addressed everything I need. Im genuinely in better health after visiting this practice. All staff treat you with excellent bed side manner and empathy. Im so grateful to finally have my health under control again. This practice is excellent in every way.

Cathi La Roe: I don’t even want to give one star…0 would be more accurate! Portal is inaccurate, Staff are just ignorant as to policies! I literally got 6 different people with 6 different “stories” of policy and procedures in 2 days time. I tried to get med refills and was at first set up with a tele visit but did not receive any instructions by email or on the portal. So I waited 1.5 hours until the clinic closed and did not receive a call because they were on zoom but I had not been informed that I needed zoom. So I was labeled as a no show. The meds I was out of are an antidepressant which should not be stopped randomly due to depression worsening and suicidal side effects. Another appt was scheduled for 3 days later. The office called me and cancelled the tele visit saying I needed to come in person. But…my record indicates I was a no show again. The in office appt. Did not happen because I arrived late due to traffic although I gave myself plenty of time to get there. Interstate backed up and roads blocked off by police. I called while driving and was told to keep coming . When I got there I was refused service and once again labeled as a no show although I store in the office for an hour explaining my need for depression meds which I had been off of for 3 weeks at that point. I had a total meltdown and was sent home regardless of my mental state. No compassion, No concern, No assistance! That is medical neglect on the doctors part. And people wonder why Mental Health is on the rise! I could go on but will just post another review! This place sucks!
