4 /5 Native One: Not much wait time. VA very helpful. Care is very good. What I. Dont like is waiting on the phone , sometimes for an Hour to speak to someone. This a problem for many Veterans. I recently had a Stroke, in the last 2 days have spent approx. 5 hours on hold, very frustrating. Overall ,besides that. Once you get to see the right care giver, care is very good. Though sometimes frustrating. I commend all care givers for their service.

They helped me not pass out by installing a pacemaker. And they saved my life when I had cancer. While no system is perfect, the American Lake VA has been a great help in keeping me alive and active. 5 /5 MT Clontz: Had an appointment at the optical clinic. Check in was easy, the ladies were right on top of their job. Had a seat and waited to get called back. Got the check up finished And picked up my eye drops and was on my way home. Was a great experience. Thank you.

If you ask a person and they didnt know the answer they we get a person who will be able to answer your questions or show you were you are suppose to go. Plus I seen the VA person escorted them to the place. Im happy to say that the people Ive talked with were mostly happy to receive it. As you all know you wont be able to please everyone. But the VA personal I have noticed seam to always smiling this helps the the people with bad moods to be more joyful and smile them self The smile is very contagious.

All staff treat you with excellent bed side manner and empathy. Im so grateful to finally have my health under control again. This practice is excellent in every way.

Cathi La Roe: I don’t even want to give one star…0 would be more accurate! Portal is inaccurate, Staff are just ignorant as to policies! I literally got 6 different people with 6 different “stories” of policy and procedures in 2 days time. I tried to get med refills and was at first set up with a tele visit but did not receive any instructions by email or on the portal. So I waited 1.5 hours until the clinic closed and did not receive a call because they were on zoom but I had not been informed that I needed zoom. So I was labeled as a no show. The meds I was out of are an antidepressant which should not be stopped randomly due to depression worsening and suicidal side effects. Another appt was scheduled for 3 days later. The office called me and cancelled the tele visit saying I needed to come in person. But…my record indicates I was a no show again. The in office appt. Did not happen because I arrived late due to traffic although I gave myself plenty of time to get there. Interstate backed up and roads blocked off by police. I called while driving and was told to keep coming . When I got there I was refused service and once again labeled as a no show although I store in the office for an hour explaining my need for depression meds which I had been off of for 3 weeks at that point. I had a total meltdown and was sent home regardless of my mental state. No compassion, No concern, No assistance! That is medical neglect on the doctors part. And people wonder why Mental Health is on the rise! I could go on but will just post another review! This place sucks!

Jessie Wilde Suendermann: Emergency room staff are professional and courteous. Parking is ample. The intake lady (seemed new) should know more about different kinds of insurance medical cards, (Regence is pretty common I would think) but other than that an over all excellent and expedient service. We chose St. Clair because it is close to our home and I didnt think the line would be as long as other hospitals. It was a good choice. The phone charging station is a nice convenience.
