1 /5 T Vaziri: Avoid this Hospital emergency room at all costs. Most of the time, the place is overcrowded, and the staff seem unqualified or dismissive. I went there with a severe headache and body pain, but the nurse simply told me that nothing was wrong. I later overheard he saying to someone else that I had "bruises" on my body. The next day, I felt much worse and decided to go to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. They ran a blood test and discovered my white blood cell count was three times higher than normal. If you value your health and want proper care, do not go to this hospital.

5 /5 Tara Camilli: Surprised at some of these comments. It is like people forget that in this post-Covid era, EVERYONE is overworked and understaffed, especially in healthcare. People who are expecting pre-2020 levels of butt-kissing and full staffing are going to be disappointed for a while, if not always. I have always had exceptional care here and by UW Medicine as a whole. Have I had to wait longer when I go in person than pre-Covid times? Yes (love telehealth, btw, when appropriate). Are people tired? Yes. Am I going to hold it against them? No. Especially when it is clear they are not taking something out on me or trying to be rude to me, they are just human with human emotions that cannot always be controlled, especially if they are getting ragged on all day by people who are upset at things out of their control. Everyone is doing the best they can, including you reading this I bet, so give them (and everyone, like, in life) a break. The care is top notch and they are a lot better than other short-staffed places.

James Rivera: I was brought in last week with a brain seizure. I was treated in the ICU and the Epilepsy floor (5th). These folks were all truly amazing. Each individual that I interacted with was extremely caring and just wonderful people. This was obviously not the ideal situation to be in, but Im so very grateful that I was brought to this hospital. I would especially like to mention my friend Davit, (unfortunately I dont know his last name) who helped me in ways that he may never know. Im grateful and thankful to be alive today and these people were all a big part of my recovery. Best to all of you.

Overlake Medical Center - Bellevue

Diana R: The ER lobby was dirty, the ER rooms itself looked a bit run down. The staff were fine but I feel the set up was just not entirely appropriate. Once you speak to a provider in the back they take you back out to a cubicle in the ER lobby to wait to be called for any lab or imaging to be done and then also to get your results/ follow up with provider afterwards. You have someone on either side of you and the walls are probably 4ft tall. Literally almost no privacy and you can clearly hear doctors discussing results / treatment plans etc with a patient next to you.. Just overall not comfortable and even if this is “allowed” does not seem appropriate or private in a healthcare setting while receiving care. I understand this is likely to free up rooms in the back but we must have better options than this. Also as far as the wait I’ve been told 45min-1 hour for results and it’s been well over an hour and a half and still no results have come back.

Rosalind Marinou: I have loved Dr Dao and her staff -- everyone in the office -- and made sure she and the office were in network for my insurance. She listens closely and treats causes as well as symptoms. She knows that I am not a fan of unnecessary procedures or medications and focused on exactly what Ive needed - not more or less. Im giving them 5 stars easily.

Rachel Klinkatsis: You will get medically gaslit at this emergency room. My primary docs suggest I never come here again. They do not listen to symptoms and the ER doc interrupted while I was trying to explain my symptoms saying thats not it and invalidated my feelings every turn. I was forced to come here because my primary care deemed me severe. But they told me never to go here again and just go to Swedish hospital. Do you health a favor never come here.

Mark: Ive been going to this clinic to see my primary care physician for at least 7-years now. I was in my 20s and lived nearby when I began using this clinic for follow-up care after a major medical event. I sometimes cant see my doctor because theyre over-booked, so I get in with a resident instead. Ive never had a bad experience with this. I see my primary care physician a few times each year, and if I have an emergent situation the residents always take great care of me. I strongly recommend UW General Internal Medicine, and all UW medical services in general. I had a near-death experience in 2018 and I wouldnt be alive if it werent for UW Hospital and UW General Internal Medicines thorough follow-up care.

Lydia Moore: I wish I could do 1-star. This facility does not seem to care about their patients and have made that prominent to me not just once, but 5 times. I just want to be seen and have a doctor that cares about their patients and not just ticking off the box. Every time I have had a virtual appointment my care team has been 20 + minutes late. Since this has been a trend, the care team may as well schedule the appt for when they are going to actually come on, instead of wasting the time that their patients have to take off of work and pay.

Nadia Karimi: I had a very disappointing experience at this emergency room. There were only a few patients waiting, but the wait time was extremely long. The reception staff and security were laughing so loudly, it was very disturbing for patients who were in pain. The nurses called patients’ names very quietly from far away, without any clear instructions, so many patients didn’t hear their names. The staff also seemed tired and unfriendly, treating patients like a burden instead of people in pain. This is not how patients should be treated in an emergency room. I hope they improve their care and communication.

casey saputo: Im giving 2 stars only to this specific loaction of harbor. Im a patent as well as care taker for 2 family meber and get there meds. The Security gruad working there is bias and choose to pull me to there faulty new tablet metal detor. I have a plate and screw in my hip and only had personal items with me like meds and my toothbrush yet he makes me go through the metal detor and than all my bags making me dump my medications out with a flashlight this system is faulty and until fixed. Also the security guard refuse to get me his badge information I needed. Everyone else gave me the routing number except it so no means I think thats something wrong. This happened at 11:00 a.m. on Jane 15 2025. I get harborview medical 5 stars but until this location fixes whatever is going on at the 9th and Jefferson Im giving two stars since we should know that youre going to be most likely pulled aside on racial and/or cultural biases.I did make a complete and making sure I wanted to make another complaint as like I said Ive been a client there for many years and many surgeries and I dont know who this guy is but he should probably find a job somewhere else. There are other security guard Jamal is absolutely amazing he should obviously take that guys job honestly. He took the time to listen to my complaint rather than like the guy who actually did what he did wrong sat there and then just ignored me and act like he was just better than everyone. And then refusing to give me his batch so Im not sure why this person works there to me it sounds again like he should be working for like a regular security company like maybe outside or parking lots not where hes around people its people skills are horrible especially for mental people or people doing with mental disorders
